Also, I forget his name, but there was an OL at ND who finished his undergrad degree and played his 5th year with the team while in his 1st year of law school. Speaking as someone who has gone through the hell of 1L year, hats off to that guy.

Depending on his grades, my vote would probably go to Chris Stewart. If he pulled off good grades in his 1L year while still playing football, I would be beyond impressed. Getting top-of-the-class grades in 1L year is an 80-hour-a-week job, and adding football onto that is absurd.

You could have put at least 50% of the starting QBs in the country on that team and the results would have been no worse. CK wasn't even a 60% passer and he averaged well under 200 yards per game even in his best year. I doubt he was even the 10th most important player on that team.
