Cam Newton bought stolen property, tard. He didn't steal the laptop himself. He bought it from the guy who actually stole it. I know that is really legally nuanced for you, but try to keep up. Once the cops busted the seller of said laptop, the tracked it to Cam. Cam panicked, tossed the laptop out the window of his dorm, which then added another charge.
Cam was charged with receipt of stolen property and tampering with evidence/hindering a police investigation. Cam was not charged with theft.
It literally cannot be spelled out for any of you more simply than this. If you, instead, continue to believe "Cam is a thief" after this explanation, then you simply cannot be helped. Believe whatever it is you believe and be lumped in with rest of the ignorant mob.

Fully aware of this. According to eye witness testimony, JFF's friend dropped the n-bomb, older black gentleman took offense, JFF attempted to diffuse situation, older black gentleman took a swing at JFF, JFF then defends himself. That's correct, right?
However, the idea that shouting racially-inflammatory speech at someone when it is likely to start a brawl/fight/scuffle/etc is somehow completely nonpunishable criminally is not only wrong, its been wrong for 41 years.

I agree that one isn't better than the other, but perception leads to thieves being hated more. Cam straightened himself up a lot, and I respect that very much. I don't however believe that he didn't know that lop top was stolen. If he didn't know, he would have no reason to run.

I really don't care at all, that could also be deflection also? You misspelled a word and I made it into a funny brother. New to TBB and just trying to get to know everyone. I might be scared though of your awesome posts using even more deflection?

They sure do love them some Cammy Cam.
Can someone explain the race component of Manziell's arrest?
