Can someone explain the race component of Manziell's arrest?

    Cam Newton bought stolen property, tard. He didn't steal the laptop himself. He bought it from the guy who actually stole it. I know that is really legally nuanced for you, but try to keep up. Once the cops busted the seller of said laptop, the tracked it to Cam. Cam panicked, tossed the laptop out the window of his dorm, which then added another charge.

    Cam was charged with receipt of stolen property and tampering with evidence/hindering a police investigation. Cam was not charged with theft.

    It literally cannot be spelled out for any of you more simply than this. If you, instead, continue to believe "Cam is a thief" after this explanation, then you simply cannot be helped. Believe whatever it is you believe and be lumped in with rest of the ignorant mob.

  • Whether a fight is worse than stealing a laptop depends on how bad the fight was. If you beat somebody until the other person is almost dead like several Alabama football players and Nick Saban's own daughter have done, that is worse than stealing a laptop in my opinion. However, I dont think Johnny Football's fight was that bad

    Let's be honest, how many of us on here have never got in a fight, never drank until 21 and having a fake I.d??? I'd say most college guys have done a few of these. On the other hand, how many of you have been caught for robbery??? Not many i'd assume.

    As far as the racial slurs etc. I'd look no farther than the fact that he has a black head coach and the majority of his teammates that are are also black... They love the guy. If he was some kind of raging racist, do you REALLY think there is any way it could be kept under wraps and him still be able to lead the team effectively???

    Of course there's plenty of Longhorn fans that love to spread the racist rumor... They cant talk shit about having a better QB or better team right now so they are searching for anything they can find to make them feel better about A&M's success.
