Ha. Funny story, related. My wife played soccer at Auburn. I had to go to all the games during college and I hate soccer so I would always tell her to get in a fight, jokingly. Well, they were playing in a tournament in Wyoming one time and some chick from the Univ or Arizona turns to her and calls her a Bitch and swings. My wife swings back. Both get red cards. Worse part is I was not at this game and there is no video of it. Only second hand accounts.

No, but that has happen in soccer mutiple times when someone trys to go for the ball and trips the other player. I do not watch soccer, but I have seen highlights of things like this.

Don't know if it is a hate crime, b/c audio is sketchy. If the young lady striking the player on the ground spouted any racial slurs, then it would be considered a hate crime.

I live ten minutes from both of these schools, these two teams even fielding soccer programs is laughable at best, and watching the girl beat the shit out of the other girl, not surprising at all, this is country BFE South Carolina for you!!
Also these two schools are minutes apart from each other, and most of the people know each other, again BFE SC, so i can almost guarentee that these two girls probably know each other fairly well, and one probably hooked up with the other girls boyfriend, and she got her butt worn out....

Its about 45 minutes outside of Charlotte, and my little sister played these teams in high school, (she played for a pretty good team), but they would literally go up 8 or 10 to nothing by half, and then second half they would "work on passing" aka Keep away for the rest of the game. It was quite comical, they would have to pass it three times before they could take a shot on goal, or they could only score on a header, stuff like that. It was almost more insulting then beating them 15 to nothing.
