Chickfila President says Company opposes gay marriage

  • I applaud the company for making a stance. Like it, love it, or hate it, FINALLY someone takes a stance for what they believe in.

    I will enjoy my spicy chicken sandwich even more now.

    Fwiw a Christian can not be "anti-gay"

    As a Christian I agree with the Bible and believe any expanse of Christ in one's heart results in the dispersal of homosexual desires and thoughts. But it is not my place or that of any other Christian to be "anti-gay"

    If Christ is real then one should flee sexual immorality which homosexuality is listed as.

    What if they said they were against interracial marriage? Seems like the sort of company that would've supported that a few decades ago.

  • I cant see how anyone would be surprised by this, a company that is closed on Sundays because of their christian beliefs is typically going to be opposed to gay marriage. I am neither making a pro or anti gay statement at this point, however i applaud any company this large that is willing to stand for something and be public about it

    IT's about what Christians view as the sanctity of marriage according to the bible. Man and Woman. Not man and man or man and dog or woman and woman or woman and elephant.

    Its about marriage. I realize that some extremists take it to the hating gays level, but they are the minority, not the majority.

    If you are against a man marrying a dog, are you a dog hater?

    is the interracial marriage between a man and a woman? If so, then people who truly are Christians should have no objections. It's about what Christians view the sacrament of marriage as (as they comprehend it in the bible). It's not about being racist or hating on any particular group of people.
