I dont disagree with all of Billy's opinions. What I do disagree with is someone who sh*ts on his team when they aren't playing good. Never liked fans like that, and never will.

Too bad you didn't grow up through the Dale Murphy years. Makes you appreciate Braves teams who can win 80 games a year.

Remember we were like 7-14 or something lIke that last year and went on a nice run.

We have talent, just have to put it together and gain our stride.

We got Bourne last year.

There's no cap so ownership could get a guy, take in his pay this year knowing chipper's contract will be off the nooks next year..

We also got rid of Lowes contract and didn't really do anything so there is a chance we make a deal, IMO

The problem though is thinking that THIS ownership will ever do anything to really make this team a World Series contender. They don't care about the Braves, all that matters to Liberty is that we run in the black. Hiring Freddi without even really looking at anyone else proved that they do not care about winning.

Personally, I will try to go to ONE game this year, but no more than that because as long as we are putting butts in the seats, Liberty won't sell the team and that is what Atlanta and the Braves DESPERATELY need.

Oh, I didn't realize we were talking fantasy land baseball. This ownership group isn't getting a big bat this year and won't spend the money next year needed to get an elite player To replace Chipper. And so far the Bourn acquisition hasnt paid off. We're on the same team here bro and I agree we need a bat but that's not realistic with these owners and most likely we won't be in a position late to even need a rental.
