It also wiped Libya out of the news.

    And this.

I think the point is some undecided voters saw Obama up there helping out, making nice with Republicans (showing a bipartisan side), looking presidential and like a leader in a crisis while Romney was nowhere to be found. If some voters were on the fence and saw that a few days before the election, I think it could definitely have swung them. Definitely not NJ or NY which were already going to be blue but it could have made a difference in battleground states like Ohio and Florida. Never know.

Actually the Chrysler and Jeep comments doomed him in Ohio, check the way the districts voted, all the large industrial cities of Ohio, Toledo and such voted Obama. Florida still hasn't been finalized, but from what I saw on the district maps, that all the big cities voted Obama, probably due to the increased attention to Latino votes. It had little to do with the storm, and more to do with Romney and the Republicans having a horrible gameplan this election.

What Pres wouldn't be there to shine right before an election... lol.

Where was he when people were being killed in Libya, or how about sweeping the F&F fiasco under the rug.

:D Still trying to make this failed talking point. Again, it wasn't the actions of Obama that lost Romney this election. Romney's election team chose the worst topics to base their arguments on, mainly to cater to the Tea Party, rather than to the majority of their constituents. Romney had many chances to not alienate himself from people, heck he won about 46 percent of the popular vote, the problem is that he messed up bad in both Florida and Ohio.

It goes a lot deeper than that as well. The race issue in Ohio was huge.

Last (and only other) Dem to win Cincinnati?

    ....

    ...

    FDR.

    Coincidence?

  • Another awful statistic..

Initial reports show 38% of Democrats voted compared to 32% of Republicans...

Ya. The Left showed up in good numbers which was definitely not expected.

    Yeah, I said it.
