Christmas Dinner Menus

- Crab stuffed flounder
- Mashed potatoes
- Marinated shrimp in a vinegar sauce for two days
- Grilled mahi-mahi
- Boston Butt (Smoked)
- Boiled crabs right off the dock (hopefully) and boiled shrimp
- Greenbean casserole
- Cornbread stuffing
- Potato salad
- Deviled eggs
- Kingfish smoked dip
- Key lime pie
- Pecan pie
- Rolls

Ah, the deviled eggs. As a northerner, we have these in the summer (and for Easter). They seem to be a staple of southern holiday meals. Looks like a good menu (if I ate seafood, that is). :D

You just might eat mine. We have converted even some of the most picky eaters. If you don't like the crab stuffed flounder then I can't win...lol

I've made it 30 years without trying seafood once. It's my thing.
Here's a tentative menu:
-Farm-raised, hormone and antibiotic-free broad-breasted turkey
-Brown sugar and honey ham
-Mashed potatoes made with heavy cream
-Loaded mashed potatoes (made with cream cheese, sour cream, bacon, cheese, and chives)
-Popovers
-Green beans with garlic
-Stuffing made with Zingerman's Deli day-old bread
-Ginger-cranberry sauce
As far as dessert goes, that's still in the air. I don't like pumpkin pie. I suppose I have to make one to please the masses, however, but I'm thinking about another dessert. I made a sweet potato casserole not too long ago that was amazing, so I might do that. Or maybe another fruit dish. Who knows.

Aren't they similar to yorkshire pudding? I've never had one but heard they are tricky to cook correctly.

Very similar, although I think puddings kind of cave in. Popovers can be tricky, but as long as you have the right ingredients you should be OK.
