    This simply blows my mind.

Just because they thought it could be him they unload on those two women.

    How pathetic

In reality, there are very few restraints on LEO use of force.

What I find most damning about that incident are all the bullet holes in the BACK of the vehicle. They've been spinning this as if they were afraid for their lives.

Don't know about y'all but, I'm really scared when a truck is driving AWAY from me? Terrified even. Better shoot it to hell!

LAPD's actions sure do fit the corruption profile asserted by Dorner.

Also, I don't know about anyone else, but even from the back of a pickup truck, I can tell that two small Asian women =/= one large black man.

And, if that wasn't enough, Dorner was driving a grey truck. The two pickups the LAPD shot up were blue and black, and weren't even the same make or model as Dorner's. It seems like the LAPD is just shooting willy nilly like they have carte blanche to kill whoever they want in the pursuit of Dorner.

You read about the Kelly Thomas case?? That case is f*cked. The Fullerton cops(where my son and my ex live)beat a mentally handicapped guy to death and they're probably gonna walk.

Yeah - I'm currently attending a death penalty litigation seminar series on weekends, and we mentioned the Kelly Thomas case. It's just astonishing how few LEO-caused-homicides result in any charges at all, much less capital charges. Cops simply live by a different set of rules than the rest of us.

  • There are a lot of examples as to how this guy lives by a strict code of conduct. I think he snapped when he got screwed over by corrupt cops who don't give a damn about doing the right things.

And lol at all the innocent people these stupid cops have already shot thinking they were him. A 71 year old Mexican lady? really?

As for that strict code of conduct, if I were an LA cop, that's what would terrify me. This guy has professional military training. He's had one of the highest LAPD security clearances for years. He literally knows all their secrets, and he's hunting cops. He knows where to hit them where it hurts, he knows how to do it, and he's better at it than 99% of the LAPD. He's had 5 years to plan this too.

They found his burned-out car up in Big Bear, and are focusing the search on the numerous empty cabins up in the mountains. Please. I would be willing to bet a large amount of money that he had another car stashed nearby and he's somewhere in the desert, relaxing and watching the cops waste resources while he bides his time. He's disciplined, capable, and has nothing to lose - pretty much the worst nightmare of every LAPD cop.

THIS is what I was speaking to when I was trying to give some 'other side of the coin' perspective on gun control. It's not about Red Dawn scenarios or paranoia bunkers in Alabama. In some communities the only thing that is keeping the police from kicking down your door and spraying the room with hollow points is the very real threat of the person inside also being armed. In many communities, multiple in LA county, the populace has every rational reason not to just distrust, but to fear law enforcement.

I think he was gone by the time they spotted his burning car. He could be in Costa Rica by now.

    Yeah, I said it.

  • They think he might be in Mexico now. They raided a TJ hotel last night but found nothing. Mexican police probably let him walk out the back door

Well, I guess not. Looks like he's just another coward who will be dead soon. Hopefully with an excessive amount of rounds to his dome.

National media is saying that, "they believe that he might be pinned inside a cabin."

Local radio (KFI AM640) is saying that that it is not 100% certain that he is actually pinned down.

A source told a reporter on scene that there is a chance that he has stolen a police car.

Who is this guy? He's living a movie.

I think CNN speculated that they turned away the helicopters so he can't watch live on TV if he has it.
