    There was a lot of love for current and former SC assistants on this list. Mangus and Ward made it from the current staff while Ed Oregeron, Rob Gillesepe(sp?) and Beamer made it as former assistants under Spurrier. Not too bad.

    When did Ed O assist under Spurrier?

    There are 26 recruiters from Confederate states- not 25.
    It's really 29 from the South if you add in Kentucky, Maryland & West Virginia.
    Maybe not true Confederate states but southeastern.

    22 the rest of the U.S.

    The list has 13 from the SEC, not 12 like you claimed.
    A&M would make it 14 for the SEC.
