Classic SEC Oversigning Conversation

You're a moron just like the OP.

This is laughable. They are one year scholarships. You tell other kids they're not likely to see the field and it would be best to transfer. They want to play so they move on. Some kids don't qualify and have to go prep or juco.

Nice. That's all you got? I could probably sell you guys oceanfront property in Arizona . All of you arguing about oversigning clearly do not understand what that means. It's pathetic really

Name kids who have been cut based on on-field performance or STFU.

devidee will skip this post because he knows it doesn't happen. He just makes things up to rationalize to himself that teams that drub Ohio state must be cheating, when in reality Ohio State couldn't win their conference without breaking NCAA rules.

If he does respond it won't be a list of names of cut players. It will be a troll post about my school or unrelated gibberish trying to change the subject.

Here are some of the players who have been discarded. Now you can make excuses for each and every one of them. The point (which you choose to ignore) is that these schools were FORCED to make room due to oversigning. This was not natural attrition by any means.

It's called reading. The proof is everywhere in black and white. That's why nobody is giving you " evidence" because it is common info

  • It's only a competitive advantage when it's the SEC because we win with the talent. These idiots never bring up FSU, Michigan, Minnesota, Kansas St, Oregon St., and WV to name a few.

I guess Michigan and Minnesota didn't get the "Leaders and Legends" memo on the unethical practice of oversigning.

You are wrong again. Some of these guys never stepped foot on campus, so how could they be "FORCED" out to make room for others. Two of those kids chose to play MLB and signed contracts. Bolton and Brown never made it to campus because of grades. Most of those kids were from the previous regime so-to-speak. I mean, even yourself, stated yesterday that numerous players will transfer when a new coach takes over.

Ohio State has had 6 transfer in the last 12 months. Apparently OSU is "making room" for more players. James Jackson was "forced out" because OSU oversigned.

Wrong again!!! To quote you, "It's called reading. The proof is everywhere in black and white." Bama isn't even the worst in our own conference. Continue with the "excuses" though, nice try.

Any of those guys complain that they were treated unfairly?

Do your parents still display your youth participation trophies at home?

Oh, and no one's scholarships were just pulled. The three listed all transferred to other schools on scholarship, expect for Corey Grant, who transferred to Auburn and we would not release him to go there, so he paid for this year and will be on scholarship there next year.

If you don't like it, you should have taken that up with your own commissioner, because everything on that page is within the rules.

If kids had a problem with it, why does Alabama just continue to sign the top players in the country every year? Do they seem worried about anything?

Why don't you do some research and making excuses why your team can't win. He is wrong, but I see you ignore the comment about OSU having 6 kids transfer though, nice.

I would say its a huge competitive advantage for OSU to pay their players and get tagged by NCAA with failure to monitor. Wow....could you imagine how great Saban could recruit using OSU's tactics.

I don't need to convince any of you, nor do I care to. One day the hammer will drop on this. Just hope your team isn't under it when it does. Dev- good luck. I am checking out of talking to a wall

Bama fans are very defensive about this. They know their coach has never won without oversigning.

Failure to Monitor University fans are very defensive when they can't win. They know their coach never wins, even with paying players.

Thanks for the list transfers, NCAA approved med scholarships, and disciplinary dismissals.

Where are the cut players? I swear to god you never answer anything. Just keep making up whatever details you want to keep uninformed fantasy land going.

I guess Terrell Pryor and Duron Carter were cut too.

  • OSU has 6 transfers since Urban got there? Wow! How the heck is that fair to MSU? No wonder he's been doing well on the recruiting trail. And I can't believe OSU players get coaches to sweep violations under the rug! Man, if that had happened at bama every single one of those players would have been suspended and probably would have transferred! If that's not an advantage, I don't know what is?!

See what I did there? We understand that crap happens. I'm willing to bet that OSU can explain every single transfer. If Posey was at Bama, he would have never seen another snap. He would have transferred and you guys would put him on your little list.

One of your mysterious medicals that I saw get some pub was Kendall Kelly, who was in the hospital for almost a week during spring practice because of a heat stroke. But that can't be! He was cut!

Anyways, please ignore this post and any other post that asks for some calm minded and fair assessment of the situation.

No Vegas, they've had six transfer since the end of last season. There will be more kids transfer out, just like most teams since they won't fit his system.

  • I don't care how or why the kids who won't see the field "transfer out". The fact that some teams sign an average of 6-7 more guys each year than Ohio State is a competitive advantage no matter how you slice it. Any fan would have that opinion, no matter what team it is.
