Co-leaders for 4-star DT

Although he admits he has a long way to go before picking a college, four-star defensive tackle Elisha Shaw of Tucker (Ga.) said Thursday that two programs stand out.

  • Shaw would be a great addition & perfit fit for a 34 scheme

I agree. He's a strong player, no doubt about it.

  • If kid wants to be a winner...Bama. If not don't care.

  • If the kid wants to play for the home state instead of a factory in another state that will throw you to the side like a piece of meat to get under their 85 limit then he will go to UGA. If he goes to UGA and does well he will always be a big part of the home team and state. Bama has to mooch off of our state because without Talent from other states Bama is crap no matter who the coach is. UGA is one of the few programs who could win big just with home grown talent. Hope he makes the right choice for life not a "business decision".

So when is GA going to start winning big with the talent factory they have right there?

Next to Texas I see GA as one of the teams that does less with more

Looks like someone gets the Bama info from a great AJC carvel article.

I didn't realize your entire roster is from GA, as you say Bama has to mooch off other states

Thank you for confirming that Bama and staff can just go into Georgia and take UGA's "recruiting manhood" by "cherry-picking", not recruiting, Georgia's top talent. I don't know what rock you have been living under but if it makes you feel better there are 12 other states, yes, 12...that probably feel like you. Now, we all remember the terrible days in Tuscaloosa and to see that program where it is today; that takes commitment and hard work. Keep in mind while pointing fingers that the student-athlete actually chooses where to attend. There is no hostage situations, I assure you. You make it sound as if "The Process" is criminal. I will not degrade 'Ole Glory because it is an unbelievable institution and athletic program. Wanna point, point at your own staff. Starting with Richt and his job decisions, not his character or anything which is the best in the game...but when you are paid to do a job and that is win, then do your job and hire the right staff because you can't please everyone to which is where the "niceness" of Richt has cost UGA a couple of wins in my opinion.
