There are some good players in VA, but I can't see them being able to hire a coach that is good enough to keep them home. Those kids will always leave the state IMO. Just too many powerhouse programs already on the eastern seaboard.
If I were them I'd just be happy with where I'm at rather than roll the dice and turn into NC State or something.

Things weren't really going bad at FSU in the eyes of some
Never even had a losing record
Really depends on your definition of the word
VT is stuck in park iyam and change is needed, Beamer is 1-29 against the top 5 and only has 2 wins ( both at home ) against the top 10
He is what ? 60/70 years old ? Beating 10 nobody dickheads every year isn't my definition of good so...

Agreed. I will never understand why people expect us to lock down 70+ elite/very good HS football players every year. Pretty sure that cannot be done.
Del Taco, of course most players leave the state, we only have 1 FBS-level program in the state GA and UGA can only take ~25 per year, so yes more than 25 will leave the state. Thanks Cap'n Obvious.
Richt's biggest problem was Willie Martinez. Promoting him to DC is the single worst move CMR has ever made as a coach. CWM is a great guy, solid DB coach, horrid DC. Grantham is light years ahead of him.

Maybe, you don't know what would happen
And acting like they will just keep rolling off 10 wins just cause of Beamer is beyond dumb
Bowden rolled off 14 straight, then his age took that down to his last 8 years having only one 10 win season

And Georgia should be able to lock down the top talent in their state. UGA is a national heritage team and has a huge fan base and influence in the state. I realize the state of georgia gets a ton of high school talent (more than a big majority of the states) and it has only itself to compete against for instate prowess so it can't keep all of the talent but UGA is losing 75% of the top talent to out of state schools and that is ridiculous. It should be the opposite. As soon as they get a coach who realizes this that program WILL be the power of the east.
