    Oh dear, have you heard about our defense?

    I think Taylor, when 100% mentally and physically, is one of the fastest and most dangerous players in the B1G Ten. Unfortunately, I don't think I saw him at that level once last year.

    Our RB/WR/TE corps are stacked for the first time in a long time, but the OL, DL and DB/S have big questions left unanswered.

    The only thing I see working in our advantage is we have Wisky and Michigan at home (And we scheduled a Sunbelt and FCS team blank).

    Going to Columbus, E.L. and playing @ UCLA will be tough.

    i know. florida hasn't done anything, to prove anything. i love them, but you're right and how many times is uga gonna get put in the top 10 only to not even make the sec title game? texas is garbage and the other big 12 teams are getting better. they need to get rid of mack brown like 10 years ago.

    I think we would beat USC by about 10-14. I think LSU should be #1, Bama #2 but it really doesn't matter.

    UGA is too high but their schedule will make that preseason ranking look about right.

    you guys are kryptonite to our asses, thats for sure! Ellis Johnson never had an answer for Petrino offense. I know same offense, but hopefully new play caller combined with our new DC changes things up a little bit.

    That was the only game last year we were outclassed.

    Sorry, but USC is way overrated at #1. USC was virtually unbeatable in the first half of the 00s because of your defense, but you haven't had a defense anywhere close to that in several years. Last year, LSU's defense easily shut down Oregon while you beat them in a shootout (and really only because they missed an easy FG late in the game). USC belongs somewhere in the top 4-10, but Bama and LSU should be #1 and #2. And IMO Oregon probably should be ahead of USC, at least until we see which one of you has the better defense. Their offense has been consistently better than yours in recent years and they are the 3-time returning P12 champs. They deserve the benefit of the doubt.

    Michigan will beat Bama by at least 17.

    And should be ranked #1.

    USC was a 14 point dog against Oregon for a reason. And nothing you said undercuts my basic point ... that USC does not have a NC caliber defense (or a defense that is anything close to what you had regularly under Pete Carroll).

    Multiple teams scored more than 30 points on you last year. Arizona put up 41. Stanford put up 56! Heck, even the bad teams you played had no problem scoring above their season average (an absolutely awful Minnesota team tagged you for 17). The problem isn't your offense, it's your defense. And I didn't say you would be a bad team, I simply said you did not deserve to be ranked #1.
