I'll continue to let you guys think about that one and give you a second question to juggle:
As of the end of play today, what school has the most losses in college football history?

Upvotes for correct answers.
First question:
After what controversial Heisman Trophy season did the Heisman committee begin requiring that the votes be due after the final regular season games? Who won the Heisman in the controversial season, who was the runner up, and what was the controversy?
(Note: The votes aren't required to be turned in after the regular season, but they aren't due until after it's done.)

Eddie George in 1974.
Anthony Davis finished second.
The ballets were due before the end of the regular seasons and before that year's USC-ND game in which Davis scored 26 of USC's 27 points, so it let people to wonder who the real winner should have been.
Correct?

Correct on the year and close enough on the story. Davis scored 4 TDs against #6 Notre Dame and led his team to a 49-0 second half and a 55-24 win.
One minor correction: Eddie George?! LOL Try Archie Griffin. In all likelihood, Griffin would have won the Heisman either way, as the margin was huge, but it probably would have been closer.

Next question (but don't forget the Heisman question from above):
Identify the RB duo:
In just three years playing together, this tandem had a combined 8294 rushing and receiving yards and a combined 66 offensive touchdowns.
