    You should definitely give it a try. I have never watched Big Bang Theory so not sure about that one.

    Yeah, I'm a big Donald Glover fan. I know he wrote a lot for 30 Rock and he acts in Community, not sure if he wrote any episodes for Community. Also a fan of his music.

    They have every episode on Hulu Plus if you have that.

    Community is just a very smart and well written show. It is not a "time slot" it like How I Met Your Mother, so it will not get the national acclaim in terms of ratings that it deserves.

    The show is so well written that there are sometimes even small subplots within each episode happening in the back that you will miss if you are not watching carefully. This is one aspect that makes Community such a well written show. It is not a background comedy (something you just have playing while you do other things) like HIMYM and Two and a Half Men.

    That is why I always watch an episode at least twice. Going back to watch stuff that is going on in the background.

    This is so very true. What is sad is that Two and a Half Men and HIMYM are what the majority of people want. It's like our society is too ADHD for shows like Community where you actually have to pay attention **GASP** to understand whats going on.

    Same reason shows like CSI have such high ratings.

    I just pray they go ahead and at least make one more season so they can sell the show for syndication.

  • Big fan of Joel form the soup. Started watching community from the get go. Peirce is a riot, and the writers do a great job. Seems to get good reviews( and awards) but dont know many other people who watch it.

  • Community is the only network comedy I look forward to watching. Go Blue Ranger explained it well.

    Community really has no boundaries where they can go with the stories. They are infinitely more interesting as the repetitive fodder that is displayed on the more popular shows.

    If you have Hulu Plus they have every episode. If you don't have Hulu Plus get it now. It is worth $7.00 a month.

    Also just know that the first season gets better and better as it goes along.

    I don't have Hulu Plus, and unfortunately $7.00 a month is a lot for a college student like me. I already pay for Netflix and 247 every month. Anyways, I'm just downloading it. Depending on how long it takes, I may get an episode or two in tonight.

    And yeah, unless I just find it completely awful, I'm not one to give up on TV shows that start a little slow, so I'll give it a fair shot.

    You should give Community a try. I feel like Community and Psych are similar in some ways. Both make a lot of pop culture references. Although most of Pysch's are from the 80's.

  • Nope..I love Community. Putting it on hiatus is absolute BS. Parks and Rec imo is the best thing on Thursdays followed by Community.
