Same people that thing hog hunting is cruel to dogs... Yes occasionally the dog gets cut down or even killed but they live more in that time period than any inside dog does in 10 lifetimes.
Golden is better then Jimbo... I feared it was true. He is going to hoist a crystal ball there - fsufsu
oh, so you know of this breed? I want a Bull terrier and i know they're good with kids. Can be hyper though.
My last one, that just died was a champion breed and he was from Santa in 2000.
I think he was between $300-$800
It really depends on the breeder and the bloodlines. This breed is like horses... if the mom or dad is a Field Trial Champ, price skyrockets. It also depends if you want it to look like the one above... or brown and white or just brown.
The Grey and brown are more expensive
while true, I don't compare putting pizza hut pepper in a hole to a disembowelled dog lol
American Staffordshire Terrier.. Had 3 of them and they are awesome dogs. I looked up the Vizsla last night. Looks pretty cool. Never been on rescue me link. Awesome. Wife doesn't want to go to one in person bc she said she'll cry/try to adopt all the dying ones.
I don't do it anymore but I was just giving an extreme example of "animal cruelty" and how I disagree with that too.
actually this is what i was talking about when i said Bull terrier
Edit: i mean look how awesome these things are

hog hunting is the most redneck thing i have ever done... it was fun as heyul
Thanks for the advice on stopping the digging with pepper, I will try that this afternoon.
i've heard the pepper trick, if that don't work put small mouse traps in his holes. Entertaining and he'll quit.
We own a lot of grove/pasture so it was always a fun hobby to do while also removing a nuisance from our property. Haven't done it in ages..
Oh I know what they are.. Spud Mckenzie represent.
agreed. My step dad had one, hated it.
So what family dog should I get ?
Give me some details of what you want. Indoor dog or outside? Both? How big is your yard and how close are neighbors? I know you dont have a fence but a 3/4 acre wireless fence system is only $300.
Also how willing are you to take it for walks (or multiple walks) a day, no matter the weather?
You'll love this ... we actually have a labra-reimer (Chocolate-Weimaraner mix). A buddy got drunk one night and left his Weimaraner in his neighbor's backyard w their lab.
She's 4 now and great, but she chewed every damn thing in sight for about 2 1/2 yrs. We have children ages 11, 3 and 1. She's been perfect with them. Completely knocks the 1 yr old over w her hyper-ass tail all the time, but I don't care. He crawls all over her, pulls her ears, smacks her in the ass w trucks and footballs. She just rolls w it, licks him swats him away.
Was a grade A digger. Little bitch pulled up 4 termite traps. To hell w pepper - we used Tobasco. Worked great. Til it rained.
Overall, she's been a great dog and will only get better.
2 1/2 years of chewing? Good gawd teach that dog some discipline. Way too long to still be chewing. Don't be afraid to discipline that bitch
The dog will be an inside dog (living wise) but will spend a lot of time outside. We are fixing to move (closing on a house soon) but both places have big yards. (3/4 acre at least) Our new place has a huge backyard with enough space in between neighbors. 3300 sq ft so inside will have plenty of room. Never been a "dog walker". We usually just go out in the yard, play fetch, run around, etc. Where we are moving has an awesome trail though so that might be an option. Dog needs to be trustable from 7:30-4:30ish 5 days a week. We go outside a lot, hunt, fish, go to our beach house.. Needs to be able to ride on a boat without immediately diving in (my concern about labs). Prefer a mid size dog but cool with 80lbs too. Not into small dogs. Want it very kid friendly. Pugs weeze too much. Beagles tend to stink. Prefer it not to slobber 24/7. Short hair is a must for my wife. Barking is to be expected but not all day err'day. Also having another kid within the next 18 months so it needs to be somewhat self sufficient. Lab is probably safest bet.. but intrigued by the Vizsula & GSP. Thanks in advance. Big decision. (even though I've never owned a "bad" dog)
If you don't walk or run your lab it can get more than 80lbs unless you have a female. Vizsula(sp) I have heard good things about before
Do you crate train, lamp?
Sounds awesome. Pics?
I've done both ways before.. Probably will have to once I move (live like a minute away from work currently so I can let it out now).
