Phil just couldn't get any putts to go.
I think Phil is just cursed at this tournament. I mean seriously, it's ridiculous.
I think it yielded 6 birdies or something in 4 rounds. That's too hard, IMO, and I like tough golf. No birdies in the last 2 rounds for the best players in the world is crazy.
37 putts in the final round. That's horrible. Can't win like that.
Last 2 majors won with Tiger's old swing. Hhhmmmmm
Actually Rose uses Tiger's current swing coach. Rose was one of the reasons that Tiger switched to Foley.
Foley the Canuck doing work.
I don't mind Rose, but I was rooting for Day in this one.
One of these days you gotta think Mahan gets some guts, cuz he was right there.

I was rooting for Rose or Day Sunday, knowing Stricker likely had a tough hill.
I like Jason Day the more he plays these days. He almost has a Cabrera, big game hunter feel to him.

2013 majors remaining:
Muirfield - The Open Championship
Oak Hill - PGA
2014 major venues
2014's will be big for Tiger and Phil. Phil because of the US Open, and Tiger is he is going to have any shot at 18.
Pinehurst No. 2- US Open
Royal Liverpool - The Open Championship
Valhalla - PGA
Excited to see the US Open back at Pinehurst next year. Those table top greens were brutal last time the USGA got a hold of them.
Chambers Bay - US Open
St. Andrews - The Open Championship
Whistling Straits - PGA
Tiger will be glad to see St. Andrews again.
The PGA really lines Whistling Straits. But what is not to love. Really cool golf course.
Interested to see Chambers Bay.
If Tiger could get one in 2013 (not looking likely), then the pressure would be off headed into some ideal/confident venues in 14' and 15'. Such a fine line, if he doesn't get 1 this year...then the pressure of time mounts more and more IMO.
Can see 90+ wins and stuck on 14 majors easier by the day.
I don't know what was more off... this or the Peppers to Rutgers pick.
His putting goes to hell in the majors. He is putting a lot of pressure on himself and I think that is the problem. He doesn't have nerves of steel like when he was younger.
Well he is starting to see that he doesn't have all the time in the world to break Jack's record anymore.
Also with him battling injuries he probably feels like he needs to win a couple more that much sooner.
Peppers was different, I had Michigan a long time, switched to Rutgers and then back.
Merion much worse. lol
Give me a year, and I'll predict something worse I'm sure.
Agree. He knows his window isn't going to be open as long as some others due to injuries. Definitely has a degenerative condition in his left knee (showed up too early at 18'ish).
He has always proven everyone wrong on the golf course, but not sure he will on this 1. Looking like he'll have nearly every record except the one talked about the most.
I predicted -2 so I want too far off. I wasn't starting to worry about my pick when Gerry went with -15.
