Thoughts go out to the families of all the victims, I'll jump out of the thread before it turns into a flame fest and ruins the point of the thread itself
I'm not sure why this is such a difficult question for you to answer. What makes you think that a majority of Muslims hate Christianity and Americans? There has to be something that inspired you to have that opinion.
Police say they were small "improvised" devices. Id hate to see what a large one would have done. Also what do they mean by Improvised. Was this a device that they bought or obtained that was already built. Like some type of small grade military explosive that was rigged with a radio device or something to set it off.
You are putting words in my mouth. Never said America was a perfect country, and you don't know what's going on because you are wrong. You have this preconceived notion of anybody who doesn't buy the PC BS of everybody is great blah blah blah. And can't reconcile the utopian fantasies you have been taught, with how the world actually is.That maybe some cultures are just the enemy, a notion lost on the modern West as evidenced by this thread.
In the ME what we call terrorist aren't viewed that way. Ask yourself how over a dozen countries can all breed terrorist of the same stripe, and it continue for decades in perpetuity. One maybe two terrorist are random acts that will just happen, but hundreds and hundreds upon hundreds of attacks, and multiple governments that harbor those doing those attacks isn't an outlier, it is the product of that society.
We have it here too in some ways, our society creates problems of its own, but it doesn't breed terrorist and explicitly or tacitly support them, the ME does. Radical Islamic terrorism is the acting out of what this society believes.
No. Many over there don't think it is a good idea to blow people up, but their culture laid the foundation for this current situation.
I assume they just mean that these were home-assembled devices, and that it wasn't some sort of pre-built explosive device.
It's not difficult for me to answer, I just think it is a stupid question, but I will take a stab at it.
How about how every Islamic country is an enemy of ours, both according to us and them. How about the countless anti-American demonstrations that have taken place for decades now, how about how we simply aren't welcomed over there, how about the jihad against the West. I mean damn man, what else do you need.
As for the Christianity part...well why don't you just slap yourself for me.
The culprit "improvised" with household items to devise an explosive device. As opposed to a device that was manufactured to be a bomb.
This bomb was likely made with gun powder, a bunch of metal objects packed around it, taped tightly, and connected to a cell phone by a wire. When the phone rings, an electrical pulse is sent down the wire to some sort of detonator that ignites the gun powder.
You are the most ignorant person on this board. Congrats.
Well, that settles what everyone already knew from the tenor of your previous posts: you're a moron.
Good lord, you're just so...dumb.
What "jihad against the West"? Is there some grand declaration that all Muslims should go to war against all things Western?
"Every Islamic country is an enemy of ours?" Setting aside the fact that there are only 9 "Islamic countries", we have very strong and positive relations with some of them, such as Saudi Arabia.
Anti-American demonstrations? Unless a majority of Muslims worldwide are participating in these, I don't really see how this supports your point. I bet you didn't think a majority of Americans disapproved of the Iraq War in 2004, even though there were plenty of anti-war protests.
Honestly, how do you function in class? Your utter lack of critical thinking ability is just mind-boggling.
Oh okay. Excellent rebuttal. I have been called a moron, stupid and everything else on here. But no one has been able to make an argument to the contrary...not a single one of you. You are so wrapped up in this idea that every culture is equal and good and that to think otherwise is wrong and racist and xenophobic etc. blah blah blah...that you can't see what is obviously in front of you. That there is a clash of cultures that has been going on for a thousand years now and that it is an us vs. them situation. If it makes you feel better to think we are dealing with just a few nut-jobs instead of a much bigger problem then believe what you feel you need to.
Saudi Arabia is a marriage of convenience and money and nothing more, it has been a tedious relationship throughout.
Why don't you explain to me why in the hell you think that the Muslim world is a friend of ours?
I mean the West and ME has been going at it for centuries, this is all just the latest rendition of a fight between two very old foes. Sorry you are too ignorant to see the world for what it is.

Prayers to all the families first and foremost.
Has it been confirmed who did this?
yea. im wondering how small they were. What they thought they could sneak by with. I mean if its small enough to put into one of those metal trash cans or conceal on their body. Whats keeping people like this from setting up 4 or 5 of these inside a stadium. i mean i would think they would do more damage thier than on the street of a race. It makes me nervous when i go to Alabamas stadium. We could be a target with how large our stadium is and how much publicity we get all the time.
nope not even a clue
ok thanks, by reading some of the comments in here it seems it had been confirmed. Regardless of who did this we all can agree that they are cowards and heartless POS
Oh, gee, how about the Capitol Hill convention between numerous influential Islamic leaders and American politicians emphasizing a spirit of cooperation and world peace?
Or, how about how even the most generous estimates of Al Qaeda's (and other Islamic terrorist groups') membership numbers only represent a pathetically small fraction of a fraction of the worldwide Muslim population?
Also, do you not understand that Middle East =/= Muslim World? The country with the world's largest Muslim population isn't even in the Middle East, it's Indonesia. Hell, there are 2.6 million Muslims in the US.
The "Muslim World" isn't an entity that can be boiled down to one generalized feeling in any direction. There are Muslims who hate Christianity, Muslims who embrace it, and Muslims with no feeling whatsoever - just like there are varieties in the Christian world. Your black-and-white worldview seems to foreclose on any shades of gray, and that's just a damn shame, because you condemn hundreds of millions of Muslims who bear no ill will towards the US or Christianity with your nonsensical mindset.
EDIT: Also, I hope downvoting me makes you feel better about your ignorance.

What the hell are you talking about?
You aren't making any valid arguments. You just keep regurgitating the same thing over and over.
Keep on generalizing and saying that the "ME" and "muslim world" are out to get us. It's making you look brilliant.
yea their have been alot of false reports but the police still say they have no one detained or really any persons of interest. i bet video is going to be reviewed for days tring to see anyone dropping off these devices.
I am going to assume that your first sentence and link are jokes and will chose to ignore them so that I can keep from rolling on the floor laughing and actually respond to your post.
Yes I do understand what the difference is between the Middle East and the Muslim world. The ME is where most of the problems are and where Islam is the most extreme so that is where I chose to focus my argument. To a lesser extent the same things can be said for other Muslim nations too.
The rest of you post is just nonsensical platitudes and not worth addressing.
I really don't know what to tell you. Muslims have been problematic everywhere they exist in large numbers. They have no belief in women's rights, they stone people for adultery and blasphemy, the populace turns a blind eye toward the terrorist in their backyard while their governments harbor and fund them. An anti-Western sentiment is rampant and has been for centuries. Violence in never ending, the region is becoming increasingly radicalized. It's just so damn obvious, but you can't see the problem because you don't want to be all out of vogue and actually recognize that some peoples just aren't our friends. But yes I am the moron.
ITT every poster conservative and liberal not named Troytide tells him how wrong/stupid his posts are and he stays convinced he is the only one right. Good times. Good times.

Wow that's all I can say
I think I discovered TroyTide's idol:
Fox News contributor Erik Rush has called for all Muslims to be killed in the wake of the deadly blasts that struck the Boston Marathon.
Wow...that is so sad
