Do you think that Muslim populations in countries not located in the Middle East are "cut from the same cloth" as their "brethren" in the ME? If not, would it not be fair to assume that the region itself plays a part in these issues for a myriad of reasons (culture, lack of modernization, etc.)?
The syrians want help. they are sympathizing with us.
They want help, but they are also normal (non-violent, non-extremists) people just like 99% of Muslims.
Every religion/nationality has extremists, killing all Muslim's would be just as stupid as them bombing US/other places.
It's a shame such ignorance still exists today. TroyTide and MarshallNole are absolute fools, it's disgusting crap like that is allowed to stand on this board, and is not deleted immediately.
It's comparable to saying kill all blacks because some random black dude killed someone. Or kill all white people because Sandusky raped little boys.
It's absolute crap.
I think people forget that Christianity had a pretty long violent streak, too. The "Christian world" has just modernized much, much more than the "Islamic world." The Middle East is proof of that.
Well I think there are a select few azzholes on here who don't. Saying that Muslim's are the only violent/terrorists in the world is just absolutely insanely stupid.
This terrorist attack really brings out the best in most people, but also brings out the stupid in a few also.
Those fools posting this stuff should be ashamed.
Very true. Let's be real: It'd be naive to act like Islamic terrorism doesn't happen often, but it'd be more naive to act like they're the only religious group that has ever killed anyone in the name of their God; and sadly, they won't be the last. What I find strange is that basically all of these religious terrorist groups (just focusing on those "types" of terrorists) are from the Middle East. There are Muslims all over the world but when we talk about Islamic terrorism, it's almost always based out of a country in the ME. And yet it's the fact that they're Muslim that people latch on to so strongly, not the fact that they're coming from antiquated, poor, old-world, third-world countries. I'm telling you, while religion plays its part (we'd be stupid not to admit that), the fact they're from the ME and its lack of modernization plays a huge, huge part.
dipshit, i agree with you
They are also being supported by al Qaeda and will institute and Islamic state based on sharia law when they come to power. You are seriously clueless.
It will work out about as well as Egypt has...not so well.
No this post is crap and utter non-sense.
You can state something all you want but it doesn't make it any more true.
This behavior is rampant across that region, the people of that region persecute Christians everyday and exclude then from society, Western interest are constantly attacked over there.
But play the fool and make yourself feel good with all your cuddly PC BS.

Which is why I think it has much more do to with the region and its lack of modernization than the fact they are Muslims.

You have to realize who you are dealing with here.
A lot of people on this board would say that is a great idea.
Ooooo, you got me!
Keep it coming brah!
Only a portion of them... (in before raccisssss; same statement can be applied to every race)
Golden is better then Jimbo... I feared it was true. He is going to hoist a crystal ball there - fsufsu
Well if you want to be an ignorant phuck go ahead, just a shame educated non-dumbasses have to be exposed to useless crap that you and others post.
You literally have no idea what you are talking about, you just watch the news and hear the sensationalized stuff about muslim's and assume they are all the same.
If you are actually exposed to the stuff you wouldn't be singing the same tune. But living in ignorance is bliss as they say.
I like this picture. Lets stack his brother up beside him.
This is golden. Keep it coming!
That is a good point.
If you drew a map of the Muslim world, and a map of underdeveloped countries recovering from Imperialism they would overlap perfectly, except of course southern Africa and Latin America. Many of these countries are ruled by Dictatorships that own the media and tell people its America and Israels fault that they are poor and unemployed.
Many Muslim countries like Iran have watched America select the dictators that run their country too in the last 50 years.
Some People in poor Muslim countries (rightly and wrongly) blame America and the Western economic system for their problems.
But the main reason they hate America is because we continue to back a regime that builds settlements in Palestinian land in violation of international law. Resolving the Israel/Palestinian conflict would end of a lot of the anger towards the US.
The Koran isn't anymore violent than the Old Testament. A vengeful god that punishes unbelievers. People of the Book dervived from the story of Abraham aren't considered Unbelievers.
I'd rather see him alive first, get to talk to him and find out the plot behind it.. then stack him there when we're done.
No it wouldnt
If Christians lived by the Old Testament then you'd have a point... Keyword: Christians
Even after the New Testament we saw things like the Crusades and the Spanish Inquisition. Modernization, IMO, is the key.
I completely agree.. but it's not like this 19 year old grew up in the stone age. He's spent the majority of his life in the US, has received a top notch education, etc.. Radical ignorance.
