Duke, Clemson - 38, Miami - 30, FSU - 28, BC(23), UVA and Rutgers. That 5th looks kinda meh IMO. Vatech D will be good, I just don't see them being top 10 with the offense not being able to stay on the field. IMO.
VT might not even be a bowl team this year
I guess you didn't get the memo.
We will see, but I don't see it being worse that last year. We have the guy that would have been out best WR last year back (he RS as a SR due to injury). Our RB's have a year under their belt, one is a So, the other is a RS Fr. Our OL is going to be a typical poor/average VT OL, but it is paper thin.
At worst out O will be a battering ram Logan just as it was last year but this year at least we will run out of better sets. Not many people realize how horrible our O coaches and the set up was the last 2 years. The guy calling the plays didn't know the personel in the games!!! WTF! We had plays called for player that weren't in the game, or weren't even in on that series.
It takes a lot to be the worst O in VT history, it simply can't be worse than last year, it can be as bad, but not worse.
What about the guy who just got arrested and suspended? Didnt he have the best numbers in the spring game and was in the competition for starter?
JC Coleman and Trey Edmunds have been battling for #1 RB spot. 20 of the 22 two deep return on D. I think we'll be ok.
Of course you do.
I guess I didn't. Care to fill me in or would you like to just be a smartass on a message board?
I'm not sure you understand how bad Scot Loeffler is
he is responsible for for the '10 UF offense and the '12 Auburn offense
Rocco transferring and Sims appears to be struggling. QB up for grabs between Watford, Lambert, and Sims.
Damn didnt know that. OP your prediction for UVA is good
Damn. Sims's first Spring at Bama was really good as an Early Enrollee. The next Spring when he was in a battle with McCarron he looked really good as well. It was neck and neck to see who was going to be the starter in 2011. A lot of people wanted Sims, but McCarron being more of a vocal leader won out with a game at Penn St at the beginning of the season and AJ never gave anyone a reason to make a switch.
Really thought Sims was going to be a good one.
Squirrel, tree, nut......or some kind of saying involving those words.
So do we apply your theory to bama too
so should we apply your theory to bama too?
Logan stinks, end of story
When you win 3 out of 4 NC's, by all means, do as you please.
Golden is better then Jimbo... I feared it was true. He is going to hoist a crystal ball there - fsufsu
I just can't see Miami being all that good this year. Their offense looks like it could be pretty good but offenses are unpredictable and it's more of a matchup game against defense, Unless you have a truly epic offense.
Consistently good teams are normally based around a strong defense, And I don't think Miami's defense is going to be very good.
Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or it may last a year. But eventually, it will subside. If i quit, however it will last forever.
Clemson loses to UGA (complete homer)
Off course you do.
yeah I can see the lack of a dominate defense losing them a game they shouldn't, but with their schedule though there is no reason they shouldn't win 9 games
and they really have no one challenging them in the Coastal. UNC is really their only obstacle
UNC does not have a good enough back to carry the load like Bernard. This team will rely on the passing game much more this season and I do not think they have the defensive talent to stop Miami head to head.
Pretty good prediction, but I have Miami and Clemson in the ACC title game. FSU will struggle to get to 10 wins this year with so much movement from the coaching staff and replacing Manuel.
That is obviously the question. With the QB, WR, and TE that they return though, they don't need the running game to be as good as it was. They just need it to be better than average, IMO.
Miami's season will be determined by one thing, IMO: Run Defense.
They have to get better....and if they do, they could have a really good season and possibly challenge to make it to the ACCCG.
Now, I did pick Miami to upset FSU, but if they honestly want to be able to beat teams like FSU and Clemson, they have to force them to pass and can't just let them run it at them.
The early game against Florida will be a great test for their defense as we know Florida will want to pound them. If the defense can hold up in that game, it will very telling for the rest of the season.
fsufsu said... I've got about 10 great stories on Lane but all you need to know is he will never be a loser, that's for sure.
