Just saw their schedule on ESPN and it looks pretty soft. If they run the table, do they have a legitimate shot at the national title?

No because whoever they play will smoke them in a potential NT game.
I dunno if they would get smoked, but was wondering what everyone thought.
Will they start out high enough to get that chance?
They start out in the top 10. IMO if they go undefeated they have a chance of making it.
Making it? Yes
But it's going to be another ND scenario where they think they belong in the game then they get run out by the end of the 1st quarter
SEC arrogance^^^ Florida was a one loss team and said they would smoke them too
do they have a shot at making it or winning it??
if they go undefeated they will make it, but I'm not confident they would win it. They don't have the studs up front
How did Florida's bowl game go against Louisville?
I wish LSU could have a schedule like this
I'm no sure what Florida has to do with anything. It's obvious to anyone who follows college football that Florida wasnt a legit NC contender last year because their offense was dreadful. Put Louisville up against, Alabama, Oregon, Stanford, etc and they get beat by 28+.
But we were told by the almighty SEC hype machine that they would crush Louisville and it would be worse than it actually looked. Remind me again who won that game?
Who exactly told you that? SEC homers on this board? I'm embarrassed for you that you listen to that nonsense.
Trying to deny reality? It was on TV...dah!
Imagine if Boise State and Louisville were in the Natty game next year.
What am I denying? Lousiville beat Florida last year. I think it's sad that you base your reality on what other people tell you. Use your brain. Lousiville has no shot at winning a NC.
sucks you gotta play the champs every year
UF people didn't show up to the sugar bowl because they felt Louisville didn't deserve to be on the same field as them.
No I did not lose a sig bet, but I am really really really ridiculously good looking.
They probably would make it but would need to start off high enough in the rankings.
Winning it would be a whole different issue and I don't want to comment on that until I see them play some and how the rest of the country shakes out.

Did UF players not show up because they felt they deserved to have a better bowl game? It happens. Ok. I'll try to give Louisville some credit and say that they have as much of a chance to win the NC as Nebraska does, whatever small chance that may be.
I'm not sure anyone itt is talking about them "winning" it.
Edit: To answer your first question. No, the UF players did not show up.

I was just answering the OP's question. He asked if they had a legit shot at the Natuonal championship. I assumed he meant winning it. My apologies.
I guess I read it as if they ran the table would they have a shot at playing in the game, but I could see you stance as well.
Matt Elam, Dominique Easley and Sharrif Floyd did... But that's about it. I don't think our coaches showed up either. Onside kick to start the half when you're only down 14 and have a great defense(only allowed 9 points 2nd half)??? Awful.
No, that schedule is terrible. Not their fault, the mountain west schools have a tougher schedule than the new AAC.
Heck no, easily my favorite game of the year
