Great views too. Last time I was there was Billy's last game there. Epic fail. Good thing we bought some vanity Buff plates to put in our car or our tires would have been slashed. Ask RCS about his Folsom experience sometime
Ya. Mizzou was pretty bad. Id go down there and meet some buddies who attended the school. If I wasn't with them I would have never dared wear the N around Columbia that weekend. It's like looking for a bad time. Lots of huskers cars drove home without their sideview mirrors those weekends.

Harvard.. Nice. All to much the founding spots of college football get passed up. A Harvard & Yale matchup would be a really cool experience. I would like to compare and contrast the likes of the Iron Bowl to it.
Also Notre Dame is absolutely a bucket lister for me. Not sure if it could get any cooler seeing the Irish take on Michigan in Ann Arbor. And I guess cool can be used in the literal sense.

All I need to see is Army /Navy and ive seen every significant matchup there is.... its what i do!
I wanna get down to south beach and catch a miami fsu or miami uf game at some point in life. Miami osu would be fun to. And notre dame. Choices

I went to an Ohio State/Penn State game at The Horseshoe in '04. I really liked the stadium but wasn't at all impressed with the atmosphere. The gate was left unlocked on Sunday morning though so dad & I just walked right in and took pictures and everything. (maybe this is common in Big Ten country but at least at Bryant-Denny you're not getting in there just anytime you want.)
tOSU vs. Meechigan in The Big House
Red River Rivalry
Bama/A&M ext year at Kyle Field to burst Johnny Foosball's bubble
Florida/FSU at Doak
Bama vs. ND in South Bend in a few decades after they recover from the BCSNCG
Good stuff in this thread ...
I also want to hit some off-the-beaten path places. That's why I'm thinking of going to Wyoming.
I was in Bozeman, MT. last year and I'd think Montana State would be fun for a game.

Montana v Montana St would be awesome. I live in SoCal and one of the bars I frequent is owned by a grad of one of those schools. It's always a rockin party when that game goes down, the place is packed - standing room only and it's no rinky-dink spot, that bar is huge.
You see that sign that says 'Rib Tips'??
5 I want to visit/see:
Washington, I want to tailgate on a boat and it's supposed to be loud
LSU night game
Harvard @ Yale
I've been to Michigan, ND, OSU, MSU, NW, Miami (both), Indiana, West Point, Army/Navy (Philly & Baltimore, brother attended WP), Wisconsin, Texas, Vandy, Virginia.
I don't think I could go to an SEC day game before October or I would melt, so that had to be taken into consideration.
What is happiness? The feeling that power is growing, that resistance is overcome.--Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche
BYU and Air Force have beautiful stadiums.
Bama v LSU - Death Valley
GA v FLA - Jacksonville
UM v tOSU - Shoe
SC v ND - @ ND
Lot of interest in "The Game" H v Yale ITT... Lutz. It sucks. Ivy football is not football. And the tailgating is limp. But if you go make sure it's at Harvard.
Overrated imo - The Big House, Rose Bowl, Bryant-Denny
Already been to Kstate, KU, Mizzou, BAMA, OU, North Texas, Boise St, Arky, Okie State
#1 - Omaha - with state back there of course
the rest are football stadiums outside of the SEC because ive been to most or will have been to them in the next two years
- Darrell Royal
- FSU for the chief
- Notre Dame
- Army Navy game
$50 bet with Rebels10 - Best of 3 Egg Bowls
**the $50 goes to others schools athletics dept**
it might have already been covered in this thread, but...
the rose bowl stadium does not = the coliseum.
the rose bowl (game) and the bcs title game this year is at the rose bowl stadium
the coliseum (stadium) is where usc plays their reg season games. it is NOT a host for any bowl game that i'm aware of.
fwiw, the rose bowl (stadium) isn't all that great. it's cool for the history and what not, but it's nothing special. and way too hard to get in/out of due to too few gates. almost missed ko in 09 bcs title game even though i got there early.
the atmosphere inside was great, but it was the bcs title game. could have played in starkville and been exciting.
this is NOT a reflection on the rose bowl festivities as a whole. i haven't been to the actual rose bowl (game) nor the parade, etc., so i don't know. but i'd love to and think those would be fantastic.

You mean Lincoln I hope.
PSU whit out game
The shoe or the big house for Mich vs OSU
CWS maybe? hes a Miss State fan.
My top 5 would have to be
LSU at night vs Bama or Florida
Skip Wisconsin and come to Happy Valley.
Madison is supposed to be a cool place, but if we're talking strictly football you should see the Beav.
I'd even put Michigan and OSU's stadium above UW, and I hate them.
Why should we have to go to class if we came here to play FOOTBALL, we ain't come to play SCHOOL, classes are POINTLESS
Never been to PSU. Il say that first.
Wisconsin is a bunch if Dbags, but the atmosphere is pretty amazing. And even though their women are pigs, the city is pretty cool.
