It's favorable if FSU is good this year. Clemson, @USF, @Miami, @Va. Tech plus Florida isn't exactly cupcake central though.
Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.
Would love a flip flop of Wake and Maryland

rough schedule for Miami, only 2 of the first 6 are at home
I love our schedule
lol at Marylands schedule
We pretty much have only about three tough games on our schedule
Surprised Swofford didn't try to give us the shaft as he usually does.
Looks like UNC got the best deal though, just have to get past VT and Miami.

If our OL holds up and we get minimum injuries, we could be undefeated headed in VT. Really, we will have 2 weeks to prepare for VT, since we get Duke the week before and you know Jimbo will be doing some preparation ahead of time.
their schedule is easy as crap
but every year people talk about UNC as a sleeper
and every year they crap the bed
It just pisses me off that Swofford caters to that school in every way possible. The ACC will be mush better off when that faggot is no longer the commissioner.
And I think Fedora is gonna really turn UNC into a pretty good team.
Just wait till they get the hammer. Their sanctions will be bad.
As for Fedora, I think he's okay. I don't think he's better than any average coach.

Jimbo has screwed himself.......or crowned himself. He either has to ball out this year or feel major heat. He recruited too well and made the right moves, wrong if you want to be mediocre. He has to produce this year and he has the schedule to do it.
Wake and Clemson have weak DL for their team's standards so our inexperienced OL can go 4 games deep without facing a developed elite talent at DL. Ryne Giddins is very good for USF and him vs Glauser(?) at LT will be a war we will need to reinforce for.

I don't think the NCAA is going to hammer UNC, and I don't think you should get your hopes up.
I hope I'm wrong, because I have a strong hate for them and would love to see them go down.
Clemson, give me a break down of what you expect with us.
When we're on offense:
I think this is one of the weaker DLs you guys have had in some years, compliment. I think our OL fairs pretty well in this matchup. NOT great, but pretty good. Linebackers are good and we will be overly reliant potentially on a true Soph in Devonta Freeman. He's good but how good? May have to prove it against Clemson....or not.
Our WRs will be a ways better than your secondary.
When you're on offense:
Obviously Sammy is a monster and Nuk just makes plays. We'll be more capable of matching up this year with Joyner returning and Brooks now starting at the other safety spot. Big corners. We drop Nigel and add Telvin to our LBs corp so we drop 25 pounds and gain a lot of agility, coverage.
No one will run on us. And that will be a big issue for Clemson. I think we give Ellington one of his very few 25 carries for 75 yards kinda days. We'll have killers on the field so Bellamy needs to stay out.
Obviously my confidence comes from our DL vs CU's OL. We have two of the top 10 DEs in America and you'll start two green OTs. We're also much better in the interior.
It could be a long year for us if our oline doesn't come together, and I expect FSU to beat us this year.
Our DL is going to take a pretty big hit with Moore and Thompson gone. We have some good talent on the DL, but it's just very young talent. With Branch gone, I expect our DE production to take a big hit unless Corey Crawford has a break out year or one of the younger guys step up. I am hoping our LB play improves under Venables, because we have some talent there. I certainly don't think it will be any worse than this year, and I expect Anthony to have a pretty big year.
Oline is up in the air. I mean, I honestly don't think we can be any worse than we were this year. Isaiah Battle comes in from Fork Union and I think he will probably compete for immediate playing time. We did lose our best olineman in Philip Price, and he is going to be missed. Our OL has sucked for years, so I don't expect it to improve drastically overnight.
Our secondary is going to be suspect. We lost our best CB in Sensabaugh, but we have some talent behind him, but similar to the DL, it's going to be a pretty young group.
As far offense goes, I don't expect a huge dropoff unless our oline just sucks ass. Chad Morris said he only has about 50% of his offense installed, so I'm hoping after one full year in the system we will look much better. Will have a drop off at TE, but Brandon Ford is still pretty good and can catch about anything thrown his way. WR will still be loaded. Watkins, Hopkins, Peake, & Bryant are going to be a very solid group. I think if Germone Hopper can come in and add a little weight, he has the chance to be pretty productive.
With all the sunshine pumping aside, we still have Dabo as our head coach and a terrible S&C coach, so I expect the usual WTF losses.
