Why shouldn't they? NDs SOS is better than both OU and KSU right now. Their defense hasn't given up 51 points in any 4 contests combined. They beat both Miami & Oklahoma, mutual opponents with KSU, more decidedly than the Wildcats.
ND should be no. 1
No mulligan this year dipshit.
Actually, KSU beat Miami worse than ND did. Not sure what that matters, but OK.
KSU has also had their way with every opponent besides @Oklahoma and @Iowa State.
Notre Dame had to hope the Pitt kicker missed a short field goal, and struggled with a Boston College team that is embarrassingly bad. Also, Most believe Stanford got screwed. ND beat a terrible Purdue team by 3. Also, going into Saturday, ND was ranked 28th in SOS, and KSU was 29th. KSU most likely will jump ND in SOS after beating a 6-3 TCU team while ND played lowly Boston College.
I give them credit that they are undefeated. There is no way in hell they should be ranked ahead of Oregon or KSU at the moment, though.

What does this discussion have anything to do with WVU?
Lost 4 in a row.
Probae esti in segetem sunt deteriorem datae fruges, tamen ipsae suaptae enitent
That wasn't just me. A lot of people believe that, and still do. A lot of people find it interesting that a perennial 6 and 7 win team in the big 12 is doing well in the almighty SEC right now.
But again, this discussion has absolutely nothing to do with WVU or A&M, so I'm not sure why you even brought it up. We are talking about the Championship game, and who deserves to be #1. I'm waiting for the guy that said ND deserves to be #1 argues my facts that I just threw at him.
Florida's ranking is absurd
Read on twitter that it was BK that gave the vote.
it was...he had Bama as 1 and then ND as 2, so he just bumped ND up one.
Time will tell, dipshit. Its definitely more probable this year than ok st losing to Iowa st last year.
from a team that lost to ND and KSU. Kansas Stete won much more decisively.
they better get use to it..
There wasn't no struggle with BC we owned that game. Went on drives that 12/16 plays 80-95 yards. Don't let the score fool you. Would have loved putting more points up, but we dominated BC. Think we concerted every 3rd down we faced. Golson has become the QB I thought he'd be next year. BK will start opening up play calling. Our Front 7 can't be blocked. Our ST's KR and PR are trash..
No sir. You douche's get no do over. Thanks for playing!
Of course we'll get the benefit of the doubt. It's not like we're UGA or something.
Nope. Blew it again. At home!
That's the best news I've heard so far today.
What's worse for Auburn? Being 0-7 in the SEC or knowing that they have to suffer through the embarrassment of having a tied series head to head with UGA?
Yep! Oh well, guess we will have to live with the fact that we win it every other year...this was just our year to rotate off and give someone else a shot.
Undoubtedly though, Alabama is a much stronger road team than a home team. I can't understand it.
