Because we can test them. When two people look at a red dot, they each see red. When two people listen to a beat, then imitate the beat, they (at least attempt) to do the same thing. When people describe smells and tastes, they do so similarly.
Further, if someone looks at a red dot and they happen to be colorblind, we can demonstrate that with a clear test.
So you validate your senses through the use of your senses?
No. You validate your senses through the use of your own and every other human being on the planet's senses.
Are everyone's senses and reading valid?
Yes. When 7 billion people look at a red dot and see a red dot, that's because they are all looking at a red dot.
Get to the point.

When 7 billion people look at a red dot they don't all see a red dot
But you also use your sensing and reasoning to validate your senses and reasoning
That's right. Some of them are colorblind, so they see a 'darkish' dot instead of a fully red dot. We can diagnose that and let them know there is a problem with their senses. Further, we can look inside their eye and notice some of their rods and cones are defective, hence the reason they can't see a red dot. Therefore, we know the dot actually should be red.
Or, alternatively, we could measure the wavelength of light emitted by the dot, and find that it corresponds to the energy level most associated with red. Thus, we've confirmed it two different ways.
No. I'm using my senses and reasoning to validate every other human being's senses and reasoning. They in turn, validate theirs with mine.
I've said that once already, and you ignored it. My best guess says that you will ignore this post too.
Your using your senses and reasoning to validate everyone's else's senses and reasoning but you use everyone else's senses and reasoning to validate yours
Sort of. Each person's senses and reasoning are validated by everyone else's. Obviously I am not the center of humanity where everyone comes for their yearly 'senses validation'. This works quite well with 7 billion people.
When 6.9 billion people see a red dot, and we know exactly why the remaining 100 million people see a darkish dot, you know there's a red dot there.

I'm leaving now. We can resume the slaughter of the dead horse when I get back.
