I could see Aggie pulling a back door cover in the final minutes but the game won't be close
Not sure Bama will win by 20, but Bama should definitely win.
I just threw a number out there, my point was they should win in comfortable style
No knock on Texas A&M though, Im really excited about their potential in the coming years
For whatever reason I always liked them the most in the state of Texas, I never hated Texas but for some reason I have always liked the Aggies best

fsufsu said... I've got about 10 great stories on Lane but all you need to know is he will never be a loser, that's for sure.
Our defense next year will be much improved. Offense takes a step back without those 3 OL but still tons of explosive plays with AJ, Coop, and Yeldon.
LSU is the only team to beat us 2 games in a row under Saban. We will also be coming in tested (VT in ATL) and off a bye week.
After we woke up from our LSU victory coma in the 2nd quarter, you got 9 points the rest of the way. 9. There will be no Pearl Harbor for you next year. You'll have to deal with us for 60 minutes.
I like and respect Sumlin, Manziel is dynamic and entertaining, but this time you get us coming to your shoebox stadium after a week off from processing Beamer.
Trick Shot Johnny ... we comin.
Shoebox stadium? It looks more like a tackle box dummy
It won't take a step back, growing pains will be there but I wouldn't be shocked to see the OL improve
Guys like Jones and Fluker weren't really that great imo, good but not great
Bama has incredible talent and there is no telling right now how good that OL can be
OK ... what does a great RT and a great C look like, then? Sorry, those guys were great, NoVa, and collectively were one of the best OLs in college football history.
Lol Barrett Jones. Our 270 lb white DT abused him.
No they were good, Barrett Jones will not be anything special in the NFL
Fluker is good too, not great
Im talking 1st rounders who become staples in the NFL as pro bowlers year after year
Like a Chris Samuels for example
You had a great unit and they all complimented each other well
But Bama's OL was more a media creation than a group of 5 superstars imo, as evidence by you believing that hype with the so called " greatest OL in college football history " I don't fall for media created bullshit like that, and of course if I say anything different it means Im saying they all suck, which isn't at all what Im doing so relax and be realistic and not a total homer
I have no doubts they can be better next year
Yup, he got abused anytime he went up against great talent
LSU's DE's beat him up for 2 years as well, it just goes unnoticed cause Bama won 2 out of 3 in the last 2 years
Warmack and the african name which I don't feel like spelling wrong were the only 2 superstars on that OL imo
Steen was nothing special either in terms of next level talent
do I really have to answer that lol ? christ man, if you don't know then you don't know
A great RT - Jake Matthews. Great C - Patrick lewis
Barrett Jones reminds me of Brett Romberg, got mad love in college for being a vocal upperclassmen leader on a great team
Then went to the NFL and sucked total ass
Jones got so many awards because of his grades imo, he was the white well spoken good ol boy and the NCAA ate it up
Good for him, but his looking at his resume you would think he was a top 5 pick for sure.... and he is certainly not that
Our quarterback does front flips, suck it.
Too rassis ?
Here's the million dollar question....What's the line on A&M and Bama?
People here think Bama by 14? LOL...
I'll say Bama by 6.
lol at you guys ... come one, NoVa. You don't have to fall for the "media created bullshit," but Jones and Fluker were both All-SEC as selected by the coaches, who know at least as much as I do, and clearly more than you.
AP writers are more your speed, which is cool ... "mane."
Fluker completely erased Barkevious Mingo in each of the last two games they played. And I think Jones gave up one sack all year long when he was a LT and won that Outland Trophy thingee ... "mane."
From someone who has played and coached it: when all noses have to do is rip and run out of a 3-4, they're going to beat Cs sometimes. Bama avg'd 4 yards per carry against y'all, status, and had over 400 yards of offense. Sit down.
That pretty much sums it up. Another 21pt first quarter lead by A&M. Another victory.
Uhhh we beat you and your running game was underwhelming. Eddie Lacy got "sat down" aka knocked the eff outtttt!!!
Honestly, most of TAMU's roster signed with a middle of the road Big12 program and there's a reason for that. The hype and benefit they'll get from Manziel/2012 will show up more in 2014-2015 as top of the SEC talent starts arriving on campus and getting into their 2nd years.
I think Bama wins 34-30 with TAMU scoring a late, meaningless TD.
okay man keep telling yourself whatever you want
There were only 2 maybe 3 elite talents on that OL, next year Bama has the potential for 3 or 4
Im not gonna even try to convince you
In college people like Jones live off playing weak ass schedules, the NFL is a whole different animal
No more Georgia States and shit to beat up on, its funny how homer Bama fans are sometimes... and by funny I mean really sad, but its not just a Bama thing.... FSU fans are the exact same way, some FSU fans are already comparing Werner to JJ Watt and Jared Allen
UF, FSU, and Bama will all be in the running for best defense next year
LSU would have been and Im not counting them out but they lost so much talent
FSU just needs to find some DE's to step up, talent is there but its young
UF, Bama, and FSU are so far ahead of everybody else on defense right now, its borderline unfair
The game being early in the season is an advantage for Bama. Because of their physical style of play, they get worn down towards the end of the season. It's also why Bama has done so well in bowl games lately, because of that extra time to heal. Manziel will be working with new receivers. Losing Swope will hurt their passing game early in the season. It will take time for the Aggies' passing game to get on track. I see Bama winning this big because they are returning nearly all their skilled players on offense, and their defense will actually be better with a much more effective pass rush. Look out for Pettway, Hubbard and Fanning to make a major impact.
Fowler will be back and Derrick Henry should see some playing time. Bama will have plenty of toughness between the tackles.
