Since the 2009 draft, Alabama has 14 first round picks. The big 3 in Florida have only 12 combined.
Florida sucked bad from 2010-11. I believe Pouncey was our only 1st round pick during those two years. Floyd and Elam gives us 3.
So that gives FSU, what, 9? Bc I'm drawing a blank on Canes going first round through that span.

Since 2009 fsu has had ponder, Patrick Robinson, Manuel, Rhodes and Werner is all I can remember. Also this is a weak flame, and you are better than that.
ITT is the reason I sometimes hope the Canes recover.
Florida should be the seat of football.
Three high level college programs and three NFL teams.
You could combine all three teams on the field and we'd whomp that ass for them.
Haha, not sure if serious...
Wisconsin has had 4. Interesting.
Maybe I'm a little slow today. Are you saying that Bama's 2013 squad would beat a combined squad of Miami, FSU and Florida's 2013 teams?
I love that you picked 2009 our of your ass and started there. If you wanna compare Bama to The Big 3. Go back to 2000, or 1990. Oh wait, then the numbers wouldnt be in Bama's favor
I think he is, which is pretty funny if he atcually believes that
Not sure about this year.
Last year, yes.
2011, HELL yes. In 2011, you could've added Central Florida and South Florida's best two. Call'm the Big 5.
In each of the last two seasons, give us a full bowl season's preparation, and we'd beat the hell out of a Big 3 All-Star team.

Well, I didn't have to go all the way back to 2000, but actually 2001 to find the last 14 Florida players taken in the first round. Kenyatta Walker and Gerard Warren were numbers 13 and 14.
That spans the end of Spurrier's career, the Zook era, the Urbs era, and now Muschamp. Saban did in the last 5 years what it took Florida the last 13 years to do. Of course, he also has as many Nattys now as Florida's entire history. I didn't want to bring that up though as that gives Florida their entire history and is really only counting the last 4 years at Bama. I would hate to have to put those kind of time restraints on the conversation.
Is that better?
not that far fetched
I think Bamas whole team is juicing or something. It's crazy how they can just pump out 1st rounder, after 1st rounder.
saban came all over the program
Interesting. VERY interesting. Its good to be on top. Its telling about how the trend of CFB in the state of Florida has went. When you field teams who are soft, you become a statistic like this.
No way would bama beat the big 3 in 2012, ill give you 2011..
for fucks sake, you can't honestly believe this
Oh now you just compare Bama to UF. Come on I know your not this stupid. You wanna compare Bama to the Big 3. So add up ALL the 1st rd picks for UF,FSU and Miami since 2000. Do the same for Bama, and see if you still wanna compare Bama to the Big 3? If you wanna compare the numbers, do it
If you put UF, Miami and FSU together on a team this year vs Bama. We would crush them, and its not even close. Id love to see the 2-deep roster this Fall if we combined the Big 3, them Florida boys would wreck shop
lots of morally victorious posts ITT
