Rookie of the Year?
Over 1,500 yards, 12 TD's, and 4.7 yards a carry.
Not going to get the love Luck, RGIII, or even Wilson is going to get but he is a baller. Going to finish in the top 3 in rushing yards, might be second only behind Peterson.
I certainly wouldn't complain if he won it.
Our quarterback does front flips, suck it.
he deserves to be in the discussion but its a QB league and those three have been sensational in leading their teams to the playoffs.
Kind of like Peterson not winning the MVP this year. Manning will win it but in a lot of years, Peterson did enough to win it
The Redskins have two of the top 5 Rookies in the league.
Me either. I'm actually on the "Morris for Rookie of the Year" train. Hop on with me. Choo Choo
fsufsu said... I've got about 10 great stories on Lane but all you need to know is he will never be a loser, that's for sure.
Morris is pretty nice.
Pretty happy about owning him in my keeper pool.
Love Morris cuz the dude just balls out doesn't seem fair we got RGIII plus this 6th rounder out of FAU and to think the browns wasted 2 1st on Trent and Weeden
I am surprised that he was over looked coming out of high school.
If I had a ROY vote, it would be really hard to hand out. In less stacked years, RGIII, Luck, Wilson, Morris, and Doug Martin could all win the ROY, and even kicker Blair Walsh would get some votes. Ultimately, I think it will be a lot like the '08 Heisman vote. The three QBs will dominate the vote, but it will be very close between the three of them.
This Rookie class has a few future HOFers in it. I am glad that the Jaguars main Rookie Justin Blackmon has really came through this second half of the season too. I believe he has about 800 yards receiving on the season
Lol wait a minute here....Clearly Weeden is no RGIII, but anyone who thinks Morris would be this good in Cleveland are nuts. Shanahan has proven he can turn anyone into a star RB. I would be shocked to find people who would take Morris in any system over Richardson. Morris is a great fit in the Redskins system, but there is a reason nobody took him until the 6th round. Just like Mike Anderson and Olandis Gary were studs in Denver and backups once they left. Trent would be a beast anywhere he went and any team would be glad to have him. Morris is very good in Washington, but I'm not sure he would be the same player in Cleveland.
On my FF team where I had Ray Rice, Stevan Ridley and LeSean McCoy, Alfred Morris was my best RB all year.
Huddles are for rookies.
Any RB that plays for Shannahan should never win any awards, its his system.
Steve Spurrier is a God, and Mark Richt worships him
i picked him up after week 1...i had ben jarvis green touchdown, forte, s jackson....championship!
really great year for rookies.
2 and 3 stars thrive in mike shanahans offense
Im right there with you. He diffently deserves it, but I will be amazed if he gets it.
I'm proud to say I drafted him this year. Granted it was with my next to last pick, and was probably a little drunk, but I picked him.
Isn't that the reason he drafts them? Seems odd to not vote for someone because they fit a system perfectly.
They are useless without Shannahan.
Clinton Portis had the franchise record for rushing in a season for the skins without Mike. So do you call that worthless? RGIII fits what they do perfectly as well does that mean he is not worthy? Same can be said with Wilson in Seattle.

Great example of what was going on in CFB in this area.
1) Bowdens crew was lazy
2) Urban was only taking 5 star track athletes from Maryland
3) Saban didn't have time to evaluate these types when he arrived.
5) South Alabama wasn't playing football then.
I'm shocked that Southern Miss or Troy didn't pounce on this kid.
Smart pick. Repeat next year

Lol I wish this was the best value pick I have ever made. Normally my low picks are just that.
