And if they are shot and killed, then what? I am not trying to argue, just trying to understand this a bit better. These people are out of their minds.
And how are you certain of that ?
Tell me where in the bible it instructs followers to protest. Please I would love to know. As mentioned before these people are part of a whacked out cult who starve for attention and any publicity.
I don't see how someone hasn't burned their "church" to the ground. Someone needs to

If they really want to go hand of God style I'm sure plenty would line up to give them a good stoning
These people are disgusting, too bad the crazies don't go and shoot up a place like this instead of a freaking elementary school.
POS these people are.
With the heavy police presence and the president coming, hopefully this group of ass wipes get no where near the victims families.
Damn where is the teabagger when you need him.
It is amazing how many people get stirred up over their actions. As someone already said, their entire purpose is to instigate someone into attacking them so they can sue. Best thing is just to ignore them
Just the fact they call themselves a "church" infuriates me. Then, they do their antics and I just pray that God show them the error of their ways. Really, exponentially ignorant people there.
Gay organizations need to move their operations to Topeka and buy up land around the church. Turn that neighborhood into the new Castro district. Have those people in San Francisco look at Topeka and say "damn, that place is super gay."
Seriously, if heaven is filled with people like that, I hope hell is like the south park version.
If I knew I was gonna die or something I would murder every single one of them.

No.. you didn't.
Then they will cry and call themselves victims and sue anyone who "should" have stopped it from happening. They are out of their damn minds. They sue for everything and have won enough to make it worth their while. They have a ton of money, a ton of lawyers and seemingly this is their full time job. Bait and sue.

They believe in Jesus. They think he's God. They think he died for their sins. They think worshipping him leads to salvation.
Anyone under the impression that the WBC is actually a church is sorely mistaken.
They use God and Jesus as a justification to do hateful things. They are not a church, they're fvcking pussies who hide behind children at picket lines.
The government recognizes them as a church and gives them tax-exempt status as a result.
The WBC absolutely is a church and absolutely is made up of christians.
1. Professing belief in Jesus as Christ or following the religion based on the life and teachings of Jesus.
They absolutely do that. They are christian. I'm presuming you're a christian, and the only reason you don't think they are is because you don't want to be grouped in with them.
I'm not saying they aren't assholes. They are. But assholes who believe in christ are christian.
You just used Wikipedia as a reference? Sorry but anyone who thinks God hates anyone, does
A) either not know what the Bible actually says or
B) is knowingly going against what God represents.
We are taught that we are all sinners, God doesn't hate homosexuals because it is Biblically immoral. Does he hate sin, yes, the people he created? No. Let's not turn this into a theology debate. Clearly, these people are messed up and aren't Christians, simple as that.

Go Blue & Gig Em'!
Google 'No True Scotsman'. It's a well-known logical fallacy.
I'm at work, but in the WBC FAQ they address A and B complete with biblical references.
They interpret the bible differently than you do, and differently than mainstream America does. But they still think Jesus is god, and they still follow christ. That makes them christian.
I get that that's what they say, but its all a cover for them to justify their atrocities.
How do you know that? You can't know whether someone 'actually believes' or whether it's all a show.
In fact, that definition I linked to was smart enough to know that. Hence, 'professing belief' and not 'believing'.
Because they're actions do not coincide with what they say they believe.
