Right, out of touch. Not, you know, tired of this worthless system and not willing to play by their rules anymore. There is basically no difference between Obama and Romney. None. People thinking they're going to see huge, sweeping changes are sadly mistaken and depressingly naive. Especially not from either of the big two parties, but this nation is a slave to bipartisanship. Again, what do you want me to do, vote for the "lesser of two evils?" I refuse to let that phrase be attached to American politics. I shouldn't have to use the word "evil" when thinking of who is going to be the face of this nation. But you're right, I could always vote for a third party, except the fact there's a ZERO percent chance of any of those candidates winning. Ever. Maybe someday, if we can break this vice-like grip the Republicans and Democrats have on this nation, but until then, it's a lesson in futility. So you go ahead and go vote and tell me I'm a bad American because I don't understand the "principle" of the thing. Instead of taking time out of my day to go cast a worthless vote, I'm going to stay at my job and do more work. Then, I feel personally fulfilled AND I get paid. Much better use of my time.
It's hilarious to watch the CNN feed, and see the differences between the women undecided voters when Obama speaks as opposed to Romney.
You will be in the same line as drug addicts, illegal Americans, and prisoners awaiting arrest.
If you would like to know, if there was an infinitesimal chance that any third party candidate could win an election and therefore my vote mattered, I'd be voting for Gary Johnson.
See, I did not know that. And, to me, that seems like reason worth taking time out of my day to go vote, given my particular decision.
Mitty just got his face sawed off, wow!
5% to get funding, 15% to participate in the debates. America needs third parties. If nothing else, they'll be able to call "BS" on the major candidates.
thats why Im voting gary johnson. Doesn't matter in Nebraska anyway, Mitt will win, Im not in the district that Obama got a vote out of last time.
Much respect for the whole "splitting electoral college votes" thing. I hate the electoral college.
Just write your own name in - you have an equal chance as Gary Johnson
So, just so I can be clear, you want me to vote, but only if I'm willing to vote for either Obama or Romney?
No, he clearly said vote for yourself or Obama. THC is a hell of a drug!
After watching the debate, I could sure go for a hit right now...
i dont understand why it isnt that way in every state. It seems like it would make more sense, but what do I know.
Or better yet, just go by popular vote. It'll reduce the number of "meaningless votes" drastically.
If we went by popular vote in 2000, this would be a radically different world.
Hey, you never brought this thread back out, so I thought I'd do it for you.
Goodness this board has the dumbest people I've ever seen. Welcome to the United States of America!
Yeah - lots to celebrate about - the economy is worse today since Election Day.
Congrats you voted for another depression
Considering the last Republican president caused a recession, I'd say I voted for the right guy.
I want my money back
Caused or made it worse over the course of 4 years - which is worse?
