am I freaking out or are they the 5 seed?
PG -- Kyrie Irving
SG -- Dion Waiters
SF -- Anthony Bennett
PF -- Tristan Thompson -- breakout player candidate, darn solid to good as a 20 and 21 year old, now 22
C --- Anderson Vareajo or Andrew Bynum basically every night
Irving has got to stay healthy, if so they should be a playoff team.
Cavs are a 6 seed at best IMO
LBJ aint going back to Cleveland.
He won't even let Dan Gilbert pay to make a Fathead of him, you think he's gonna go play for him?
Huddles are for rookies.
I highly doubt LeBron goes to Cleveland, so lets focus on what they actually have.
Gonna be a very solid team in Cleveland if everyone stays healthy. They have a legitimate star in Irving, and a ton of young talent around him. Should be contenders after a couple years of maturing.
Yep setting up for baby bron brons return home.
LeBron is not going back to Cleveland.
Enjoy Bynum. Hope he plays 20+ games for you guys. My Sixers are playing to win the Wigging sweepstakes. Hope it works out.
Oh I didn't know he had told you that, my fault homie.
You're just not looking at the big picture.
Would you work with someone you hated and with whom you had a public feud.
The Lebron/Cleveland theories are nothing more than luxury tax/stat cruncher/sabermetric fanboy hocum
It aint happening
You think he's gonna play for Dan Gilbert
They've just won two titles with that lineup. If they win a third you really think he's leaving that for Cleveland? With all that baggage and on the hopes that he'd be able to win immediately? You think that's worth giving up the chance for a potential 4-peat.
This scenario is nothing more than a fantasy by some guys and ESPN big wigs saying "boy thats a nice lineup, what if Lebron went there? That'd be great television"
I hate the NBA and could care less, but why in the hell would Lebron go back to Cleveland.
When has anyone uttered the phrase "I'm taking my talents to the south shore of Lake Erie "
You are aware those guys didn't sign lifetime contracts right? If Bosh is underperforming, he won't be back. Wade will take less money. Arison will pay the luxury tax as long as they are bringing titles to Miami. Pat Riley will continue to build a great roster, he is one of the greatest minds in the NBA.
Why would LeBron go to back to Cleveland? Because they have some young talent and a great PG? No way.
Plus, who in their right mind would ever choose to live in Cleveland over Miami?
Won't happen. LeBron will stay in Miami, I don't need him to tell me. Its pretty easy to see it if you think for a second. The talk about him going other places is only to get clicks on stories. Put "LeBron" in any headline and millions of people will click on it.
Bulls and Knicks are still shaky teams imo.
The 14-15 season the Cavs may very well be the best team in the NBA IF Lebron James come or even a Carmelo.

Agree about the Bulls and Knicks
I haven't seen much from either in the playoffs
I personally think LeBron leaves, but he still has a ton of options like L.A Lakers, or eveing joining the Knicks with Melo.
So many possibilities, I wouldn't count out the Cavs. LeBron only cares about winning rings, and yes Cleveland could be his best option.
Not concern about the owner/ player relationship they will make it work.
Bynum's knees =
Lebron may leave, but its not going to be for Cleveland
All the points you are making are sound except for the one crucial point. Lebron freaking hates Cleveland's owner and in no scenario is he going to agree to come back to make Gilbert more money and deliver Gilbert titles. Period. End of story.
He may go to LA, NY, wherever. He may stay with some renegotiated contracts. But he isn't going to Cleveland.
Also, DWade averaged 20 a game last season and had the most efficient season of his career. So lets hold off on saying he sucks. He only struggled in the playoffs because his knees were injured.
Guy's still got 3-5 years left, just needs to work on his shooting a little bit more.
If lbj leaves Miami he will leave and play n la.
A lot if money for a guy who will play about 20 games.
Brian Windhorst thinks he is going to make a return to Cleveland. There's a lot of signs pointing that way. If you followed the "Decision" closely there was one guy who knew everything that was going on and it was Windhorst, ESPN hired him immediately after the decision to strictly cover LeBron/ Heat from the Cleveland Plain Dealer. He has pretty much made his entire journalism career off of LeBron. I think if there is one person who has the best idea of what is going to happen outside of LeBron it is him.
Also, LeBron definitely has an ego and he definitely cares what people think of him and he will have the whole Cleveland thing hang over his head his entire career. Even though it is completely unjustified he's the most scrutinized athlete in the history of sports and people will hold Cleveland against him. I think he would jump at the opportunity to wipe that slate clean and from a pure basketball standpoint there's not going to be many better options.

Just not seeing it.
You really think he leaves a proven winner for maybe a good team in Cleveland?
What if Miami wins next season. You think he gives up a shot for the first 4-peat since the 60s? Fat chance.
