Was to have them do my install today. But, as was always the case with DirectTV, I tell the numbnut taking the order that I have a 3 story house, so don't send a guy with a damn step ladder. Installer shows up and says, "My order says you have a tall roof? Where is the dish going?"
"Damn you weren't lying. That is tall. I can't reach that"........so, We reschedule.
At any rate, before I call and complain and demand something for my time, what's the deal with the Hopper/Joey thing?
I'm getting the latest Hopper and a Joey. Not the Super joey. We only have 2 TV's in the house. How much can I watch/record at the same time with the basic Joey? They claim I can record 6 at once, but that's deceptive. With the prime time anytime deal, that's recording 4 shows during primetime, most of which I could give a shit about.
So realistically, let's say it's during primetime and I'm watching a game on ESPN, but I've got 2 shows on cable that I want to be recording...can I do that? And if I'm doing that and the wife or kids want to watch something else upstairs, will they be able to? Not sure how this works after talking to the tech they sent. Do I need to get the SuperJoey?
