Btw this was the text response I got when I sent her the pic and asked. "And what am I? Your text-a-vet?!"
Pic of text-a-vet?
Vet said cherry eye. Exam, shot, antibiotic cream: 120 bucks. Go back Thursday
Doesn't sound like a man who loves his dog to me.
I'll be eating ramen noodles the next two weeks. If that's not love then idk what is
Damn! My old boxer used to have this from time to time. Went away on its own after a nice sleep every time.
The Thursday visit just a follow-up exam? Hopefully he doesn't have to have surgery, that will run you about $300.
Your right about the cost of food and shots being so high now. That's why I quit training and selling fox hounds.Ten years ago dog food was less than half what it cost now and I was actually making money off them but now I've gotten out of fox hounds and the wife and I only have about 20 Pomeranians. They don't eat much and we do OK with the puppies. The shots and wormer are expensive but thank goodness for Jeffers in Dothan AL, I buy them in bulk from them and not to bad.

I love bulldogs but would never get one.. To many health problems for the price they are and they only live about 8 years.. Lucky if they live 10.
