As long as Miles and Saban are there it may stay this way
ehh bama will stay in the top 2 as long as they have saban, miles on the other hand will probably have is fightin tigers fall to number 3 in the west over the next five years or so for atleast one season...but it wont be this year
Do you REALLY think Saban would go to Arkansas?

dear lord pleasepleaseplease let this happen.
Texas has a better SEC record than you do. Now go get your shine box ...
I knew it wouldn't take long for Texas to start beating their chest about beating Ole Miss.
You won't, and I will laff. But then again, I laffed at 27-25.
I won't what?
Mike Sherman? lol hell naw!
I think he's sayin Aggy won't beat Ole Miss. He's wrong. Everybody beats Ole Miss.
Mike Leach would be nice fit at Arky or Kentucky
Steve Spurrier is a God, and Mark Richt worships him
The lackluster team for which you root, in an Aggy groupthink sort of way, will run out of time when you play Ole Miss.
Hate to rain on your parade, breh, but ole miss sucks.
Not that it matters but that 13-8 includes one forfeited game because Langham signed a napkin at a party and two vacated wins because of text books. None of that has anything to do with the Means deal and gives no competitive advantage on the field. Not to mention the game y'all won by skipping a pass off the turf for a td while having 12 men on the field with a few seconds left on the clock in the fourth. Video clearly shows it. In reality it's more lopsided than you make out. Doesn't really matter though because only the present matters and as is Arkansas is light years behind LSU and Bama, and several other SEC teams as things stand now.

"We're modern-day gladiators, and that mental toughness is really important to have in a good team." Nick Saban
They suck big time. News flash! We played them last night. What does that have to do with anything?
Ok. Cool. I'm only 24 and the only win I can remember since beginning college in 2006 was the game in Fayetteville when Tiffin shanked three kicks.
I have no clue who Langham is.
Albert Means was a good player, nasty mess.
Vacated wins are vacated wins.
Arkansas last lost like six straight. No need to get so defensive.
And I've said it before and I'll say it again: I know who the top two teams are in the SEC. No need to beat your chest over the obvious.

Langham was a corner for us back in the early 90s under Coach Stallings. Our vacated wins from 93 were the result of an investigation related to Langham.
Was it Antonio Langham? That somehow sounds like a name I've heard before.
With A&M in the SEC it going to be harder to get Texas and La talent into Wally-ville. Say what you like about the guy but he could recruit and score points, just to bad his D's gave up more.
Strong would be the ideal hire but he'll still have to fight to get good Fla talent to follow.
Davis would have them playing bigboy ball asap but the 'AA would coming calling afther his first Top 10 class.
Yes, Antonio Langham. He played in the league in the mid to late 90s.
Long made about the best move he could when you take in when the firing had to happen, Smith had HC experience and ran the same type offense as Bobby P did so he took his shot. It doesnt look like the Smith move is gonna work and I have no idea how much money Arkansas could shell out to a new HC but if Mr. Long were to ask my opinion I'd give him this list (no particular order):
1. Charlie Strong- solid hire, UL (as long as they remain in the BigEast) should not be able to compete with what Arkansas can pay him and he is a defensive minded coach so the days of high flying offense would be done, and maybe they should be, it's the SEC west and you win it with defense far more times than offense, make the investment for your future and get a guy with some SEC backgraound and Florida ties for recruiting and Arky already has Texas ties. The Arkansas background doesnt hurt either.
2. Tommy Tuberville- again solid hire, has had success in the SEC west, sticking with the theme DEFENSE, Arky ties, would no doubt kill to get out of Lubbock TX and back in the SEC and he should have solid TX recruiting ties from his time there, not a bad hire at all.
Longshot here but may be worth taking a swing:
3. Mark Dantonio- very good HC, worked with Saban and Tressel very good defensive coach old school defense first power run game would fit perfect in the SEC. Michigan is on its way back, tOSU is in transition MSU may or may not have hit their ceiling. Arky could be getting another Saban type once he gets into the SEC, worth giving him a call and again I have no idea if they could afford him.
