Who did he spend the $500 on again? Oh yeah . . . DRE KIRKPATRICK!
And it never said dre got the 500. It says mcneil got the 500
Lulz at anybody thinks any of this is true...
Dive for the thrill, shoot for the kill.
I'd like to know why Auburn always gets accused of cheating without ANY evidence to back it up. When was the last time these sorts of allegations against Auburn resulted in actual penalties?
Lol, I had to give you a +1 for your efforts. Atleast you are consistent.
Dre already said none of it got spent on him. Not even the permissible 50. Mike pocketed all of it.
It doesn't allege he spent a dime on Dre. Just that he received $500.00 instead of $50.00.
Try it this way - - yaw siht ti yrT

Ok i know this hard for u to understand. So ur saying every player that an auburn athlete hosted that auburn spent hundreds on to try and come is eneligble so ur saying the tons of kids that went to other schools are at fault.hahahahahah dude its auburn its all auburn.
Who said he spent 500 dollars on Dre? He said AU coaches gave him 10x's the money allowed by the NCAA when a big recruit came to campus. Never said anything other than the sort. Not that it would matter, you're wrong on your other point too.

For some who probably beat off to the Cam Newton investigation everyday for 9 months, you didn't pay much attention to what actually went on did you?
The issue of whether Cam was eligible or not at AU was based solely upon Cecil's admitted seeking of funds from MSU without Cam's knowledge. There were never any actual allegations nor actual Evidence (you know, the stuff that you need to actually make things stick....) that AU did anything untoward in its recruitment and signing of Cam. The violation follows the player, regardless of whether they ultimately sign with the school. The PLAYER becomes ineligible to play in NCAA sanctioned sports if he commits violations during his recruitment irrespective of where he ends up playing. So sorry to bust your world view on this particular issue, but you better pray that there is really nothing to this story.
Started at the bottom, now we here.....better get used to it.
^^^Would check NCAA rule language if he had ability to read and understand what it actually meant.
He allegedly received the money to entertain Dre. Entertaining counts as spending it on him. Not that any of this ever happened because it almost certainly didn't.
If they received benefits during recruiting visits that exceeded the NCAA limit then they are ineligible. Fortunately for all the Updykes, there is no evidence that McNeil ever received that much money, so Dre is in the clear.
Where does it say Dre received any money?
Lol. It never said dre knew about the money. You think with all the kids auburn has recruited u think the coaches told te auburn players to go and say hey and wave this 500 bucks infront of them and give it to them. No you would have tons of kids saying auburn gives out cash. No auburn players prob take them outand have a good time with the cash never telling them where it came from.Dre didnt know or get any money. Is it so hard for u to understand.
you do realize the grade changing issues were right in the middle of the NCAA investigation?? The NCAA spent 6 million dollars, reviewed over 3 million documents, and investigated for 18 months. I think I'll take its word over some piece of trash, about to be convicted felon. I would think somewhere in those 3 million documents that they would have looked into every players grades. Hell, Mike Dyer (who was named in the story) has already come out and said it's completely false. He was never in question of academic issues. Yet you want to believe a guy who is charged with armed robbery over an investigation that cost 6 million dollars? Sounds legit........
Not here for a long time, I'm here for a good time.
teetime owning the bammers in 2 different threads.
Obviously someone at Auburn has pissed some people off royally. It's fairly obvious that a lot of the media has some serious bones to pick with y'all.
The NCAA could grant him immunity if he rolls over on you
It's what the NCAA did with Andre Dubose in the Miami case
Agreed. The whole NCAA is Saban's bitch.
Again, I don't care. Y'all are about to make history. So who cares.
Translation: I just got owned and I am going away now.
