At least Maryland is trying.
Our quarterback does front flips, suck it.
Really though, a lot of things are pathetic in the Big Ten.
Also, I think OB and PSU will be fine going forward after sanctions (if he's here). No sanctions and this is most likely a top 10 class overall.
Ugh. This thread made me go back and look through what we could have had again without the sanctions. We would have had at least 6 of the top 247, maybe 8 (Hack, Breneman, Sickels, Nelson - all 4 still committed - and Dorian Johnson who decommitted, Boyd whose mother said he was going to PSU if no sanctions, and then Barnwell and David Williams who we led for), including 2 of the top 8. God damnit.
Sorry bro, I really am.
Well, can't say PSU's coaches/former coaches/former and current administrators didn't bring it on themselves.
Yo momma is wrong
fsufsu said... I've got about 10 great stories on Lane but all you need to know is he will never be a loser, that's for sure.
The post said "best NSD ever" for Maryland, not "best recruiting class". I don't know if it's true or not, but grabbing all 3 kids who committed on NSD - including no. 88 in the country has never happened since I started following Maryland recruiting 20 plus years ago. so, yeah, it may be the "best NSD ever" for Maryland.
Just look at all the "run ons" you are getting......
Cheer up - Pitt is building a after a nice size class signed today - will be an interesting game in 2015......
As much as I normally can't stand you, the run on thing makes me laugh on our board. A good number of people act like half of the guys will end up as multi-year starters and get all pumped for each commit. Sure, some will play and a couple will probably start (given we will have 65 or less scholarship players each year), but c'mon. People counting on these guys to flourish are setting themselves up for disappointment.
As for Pitt, who cares. Their two best recruits would be at PSU without sanctions (Boyd and Johnson) and with each passing class they are less and less likely to impact PSU. Pitt, and almost every other BCS program, should be able to be competitive with PSU by 2015, after 4 years of sanctions have decimated the program. If they can't, that's pretty pathetic.
I'm much more realistic than you think. But you hate PSU more than almost any poster on here, so you think I'm a blind homer.

You mean Ohio State is going to own the B10
We would have beaten ND this year, yeah this year, the best year you've had in decades. Our team of 65 kids on scholarship would have beaten you. Maybe you should worry about Pitt since it took overtime, bad calls, and miracles for ND beat them.
B1G title game appearances:
"Big 2"- 0
Please, by all means, enjoy that stat.
The only reason Wisc has looked good on paper the last 2 years is because
1. Rich Rod
2. Ohio St's drama/sanctions.
And you still couldnt beat Ohio St...
Wisc was the 3rd best team in the divison this year...

More than likely you guys only have to worry about one game this year...and it's on November 30th.
I think the same could be said about your schedule... I see both teams going into it 11-0. If Gardner can progress well and Green steps on campus and is as good as he thinks he is.
Highest ranked IU class ever! They are doing their part in recruiting!!
mkillian247 on twitter..... I say a lot of stuff you wont care about.
I, for one, welcome our new Buckeye and Wolverine overlords.
You see that sign that says 'Rib Tips'??
I'm excited for the walk-on program, but I have no illusions about what they are here for...
1) To run the "Dirty Show"
2) To contribute on special teams
3) To provide some depth on the backend at positions.
Now, I do think this crop of walk-ons is superior than the ones we have had in the past. I also think that there will be a couple players that will end up as starters (for better or worse). WR, LB and DB are always positions where you can get help from walk-ons. With that being said, I'm certainly not counting on another Dion Butler or a (senior) Moxie McGloin.
I don't take that as a flame at all. I have said in another thread that teams who finish behind PSU in recruiting, with all the things we have to deal with, should just give up football. They will never win a Natty and will never be serious contenders. I would be embarrased.
If it makes you feel any better we'll take really good care of David Williams for you. Walton too.
Williams checked out awhile ago. We just couldn't keep Walton a secret long enough. We knew that if the SEC got in on him he was gone. Ahh well, what can you do.
FWIW, I think that Skai Moore was the LB that will really shine for you guys. I am surprised that he didn't really blow up.
They won't be 11-0 at that time. I think they'll lose to the domers and at least 2 other games. There's a good chance we won't be 11-0 either. Even though we're the large favorite in those first 11 games, it's still very difficult to win everygame. I think we will be 11-0 but it's still hard to do
