When I get back from vacation ill put my vote in. Thank you hoke for putting this together. Hopefully we can save the teams and revisit this at the end of the year. Thank everyone for the voting for my team "on paper". Well see how the season goes
The "get your vote in" bump
This is Michigan, fergodsakes.
But seriously, I planned early to go young and take my chances. I wasn't comfortable with the positioning of a number of my picks, and I'd like some back (my pick of Glenn Carson over Chi Chi Ariguzo was predicated on me potentially running a 3-4, but the DTs didn't fall right, so I got a bit boned there) but there is potential all over the field.
Naturally, the big ifs are Rees and Green. If those two can put it together, things get interesting. If not, the team flops.
I'll put up my votes and rankings later tonight after I get off work.
Will count the votes at midnight.
Ill vote on the top 5
I have to vote my team number 1. I really like my team. The pick I like the least I Vince biegel. I'd probably replace him with Leon Jacobs but Vince would do fine behind my dline
5 brain trust
I can expand when I'm not on my phone. I literally read the other thread and made notes on a napkin at the hotel bar I'm at on teams lol

We're halfway through day 1 and my running back already has a twisted ankle and one of my TEs is most likely out for the year with a knee.
Just want to update stats from my guys
QB - Trevor Siemian 18/29 276 yards, 1 TD, 2 INT
RB - Carlos Hyde - SUSPENDED
RB - Imani Cross - 13 caries, 105 yards, 2 TD's
WR - Brandon Coleman 9 receptions, 94 yards, 2 TD's
WR - Jared Abbrederis 2 receptions 122 yards, 2 TD's
TE - CJ Fiedorwicz 2 Receptions, 15 yards, 1 TD
OL - Taylor Lewan, Antwan Lowery, Robert Kugler, Alex Hill, Trevor Foy
Will update defense when stats become available. Already know Daquan Jones at DT had 9 tackles, including 3 TFL and 1 Sack and that Brendan Kelly forced a fumble. Mike Hull was hurt
Edit: Taking stats off of ESPN for defense though I know they missed Brendan Kelly's FF.
DE Brendan Kelly 5 tackles 3 solo, 1 Forced Fumble
DT Beau Allen 2 Tackles 2 solo
DT Daquan Jones 9 Tackle - 1 sack
DE Dominic Alvis - 9 Tackles
LB Vince Biegel 2 tackles
LB Cole Farrand - 7 Tackles
LB Mike Hull - Injured no stats
CB Jeremiah Johnson - 2 Tackles
CB Peniel Jean - 4 tackles, 1 pass defended
S Landon Feichter - 7 Tackles
S Tanner Miller - 7 Tackles

QB Roberson - 3/6 71 yds, 2 TD/0 INT, 5 rush 19 yds - left with injury
RB Kirkwood - 11 rush 30 yds - left with injury
WR Moseby-Felder - 6 rec 40 yds
WR Brown - 2 rec 25 yds
TE Lehman - 2 rec 17 yds - left with injury (looks like ACL)
TE Funchess - 2 rec 47 yds
DE Jamil Merrill - injured DNP
DE Ifeadi Odenigbo - 1 tkl, 1 Sack
DT Carl Davis - 4 tkls
DT Ryan Isaac - 2 tkls, 1 INT
LB Jonathan Brown - 9 tkls
LB Dan Fox - 10 tkls
LB James Ross - 3 tkls
CB Darques Dennard - 2 tkls, 3 PBU
CB Dexter McDougle - 4 tkls, 1 INT
S Anthony Dixon - 3 tkls
S Adrian Amos - 2.5 tkls, 1 PBU
K Mike Meyer - 2/2 Long 44
Offense was injury riddled. Lehman is most likely gone for the year, which hurts. I expected the defense to carry this team and I think they did a pretty good job. Two of my linebackers led their team in tackles. It looks like my corners had good games and there was a sack and an INT on the defensive line.

Where you guys getting the stats from?
I just took the offensive stats from SI because it was quickest. Defensively, I went to each school's site. It'll be much quicker to do this once teams start playing each other.
QB: Braxton Miller: 15/22 178 Yards, 2TD, 1INT, 17 Att. 77 Yards
RB: James White: 11 Att. 143 Yards, 1TD
RB/Flex: Jordan Hall: 21 Att. 159 Yards, 2TD, 3 Rec. 14 Yards
WR: Allen Robinson: 7 Rec. 133 Yards, 1 TD (Only played 1st Half)
WR: Deon Long: 9 Rec. 110 Yards, 1TD
TE: Kyle Carter: 0 Rec. (Got injured)
DE: Deion Barnes: 1 TKL, 1BU, 1PD, 2QBH
DT: Tommy Schutt: Injured
DT: Kona Schwenke: 1 QBH
DE: Randy Gregory: 2TKLS, 1 QBH
LB: David Santos: 12 TKLS
LB: James Morris: 6 TKLS, 2TFL
LB: Jamal Merrel: 9 TKLS
CB: Andrew Green: 3TKLS
CB: Frankie Williams: 5TKLS, 1 INT, 1PD
SS: CJ Barnett: Injured
FS: Max Redfield: 1 TKL
K: Mitch Ewald: 1/1 FG, 10/10 XP
Had some great days from my offensive unit and the defensive guys didn't do to bad either, especially the linebackers. I don't think many people could stop my offensive unit, absolutely loaded.
QB- Gary Nova 26-41 348 yards 5TD-1INT
RB- Zwiank- 24 carries, 65 yards, 1 Recption, 5 yards
RB- Stephen Houston 8 carries, 9 yards
WR- Cody Latimer 2 receptions, 44 yards
WR- Gary Bush 4 receptions, 14 yards
TE- Troy Nicklas 1 reception, 66 yards, TD
DE- Ryan Russell 6 tackles, 1 TFL, 1 sack
DT- Tyler Hoover 3 tacklse, 1 TFL, 1 sack
DE- Quinton Washington 7 tackles, 1.5 TFL, .5 sack
DE- Anthony Zettel No stats, rotational player.
LB- Wil Lucas- 5 tackles, 1 PBU
LB- Max Bullough 9 tackles, 2.5 TFL
LB- David Cooper 8 tackles, .5 TFL, .5 Sack
LB- Chi Chi Ariguzo 10 tackles, 1PBU
CB- Bennett Jackson 4 tackles
S- Lorenzo Waters 7 tackles
S- Brock Vereen 8 tackles, .5 TFL
CB- Greg Heban 3 tackles
Gary Nova had a great day, even though they lost. Running game was non existent pretty much, will need to step up. Defense was solid, as I expected them to be. My DL exceeded my expectations in their first game, and all my starters recorded a sack. Linebackers were solid as I expected, both Ariguzo and Bullough led their teams in tackles. My secondary did alright, minus Waters. Waters and Rutgers secondary got torched.

Armstrong played a hell of a game. Also I'm pretty sure Watt had a couple receptions

Yeah I'm fairly happy with all of the Wisconsin players I picked. And I didn't even think to check for receptions for Watt.

Overall, crappy day for my team besides Bullough, Ariguzo and Niklas.
QB Tre Roberson (5th Round) - 1,128/60.2%/15 TD/4 INT, 423 rushing Yds-5 TDs. Wasn't the starter, but put up some decent stats. A huge letdown.
RB Donnell Kirkwood (20th) - 114 yds. Had an ankle injury and couldn't gain a spot in a decent Minny backfield.
WR Philly Brown (10th) - 55/655/10 - 27 rush yds - Can't complain getting the leading receiver for the Buckeyes in the 10th round.
WR Brandon Moseby-Felder (23rd) - 28/312/3 - Not a horrendous second receiver with Brown/Funchess, but had a disappointing year for a potential steal.
TE Devin Funchess (8) - 47/727/6 - Basically a WR and filled his role perfectly in a 2 TE attack. Still has room to improve, but a great pick.
TE Matt Lehman (19) - 2/17 - got hurt immediately; definite injury casualty as he was primed to do real well in this offensive setup.
T Jack Mewhort (2) - 1st/2nd team all conference
T Josh Campion (13) - Media HM
G John Urschel (4) - 1st team all conference
G Dallas Lewallen (17)
C Dan Voltz (16)

DE Ifeadi Odenigbo (12) - 5.5 sacks; fumble - a pass rushing specialist
DE Jamil Merrill (9) - 21 tkls; 2 sacks - injury problems
DT Carl Davis (14) - 39 tkls; 1.5 sacks
DT Ryan Isaac (24) - 18 tkls
LB Brown (3) - 119 tkls; 5 sacks; INT
LB Fox (15) - 90 tkls; sack; INT
LB Ross (7) - 81 tkls; 1.5 sacks
CB Dennard (1) - 59 tkls; 4 INTS; 10 PBU - beast mode
CB McDougle (11) - 14 tkls; 3 INT - fantastic start before shoulder surgery
S Nixon (18) - 54 tkls; Sack - only played 10
S Amos (6) - 50 tkls; 2.5 sacks; INT - did much better at CB than safety
P Sadler (21) - 42.3 average; 30 inside 20
Dennard - 1st team coaches/media; All-American
Sadler - 1st team coaches/2nd media
Davis - 2nd team coaches
Brown - 2nd team media
Overall, a team that was absolutely devastated by injuries. My RB lost his job due to longterm injury, QB couldn't gain the starting job but put up decent stats. Lehman would have given me one of the best WR/TE combos available if healthy. Offensive Line has its strengths and weaknesses. The d-line is serviceable, but Davis is the only real player. A good set of linebackers that I'd feel comfortable with. The secondary could have been insane if injury free. Dennard and McDougle are one of the best pairs if McDougle is healthy (3 picks in 4 games). Nixon and Amos aren't a half bad way to round out. Also had a good pair of specialists.
This team is a middle of the pack bunch imo.
I'll try and post all my info later tonight. Didn't do as well as I expected I think.
Posting this for Braintrust:
QB: Joel Stave - 61.6%, 2414 yards, 20 TDs, 12 INTs, All B1G Honorable Mention (Media)

SS: Traevon Henry - 53 tackles, 1 INT
K: Taylor Zalewski - 12/17 FGs
P: Connor Kornbrath - 58 Punts, 39.9 YPP
Overall - Defense was the better unit as I expected. Louis Nix was a bust of a 1st round pick, but Shilique Calhoun made up for that big time. CJ Olaniyan was a nice late pick as well, but the middle of my D-Line was bad. Secondary was solid, as were Jones and Wilson at LB.
My Oline wasn't great, as expected. Keith Mumphrey had a bad year at WR, Shane Wynn was good but not what I expected. TJ Jones was a very good WR for me. Savon Huggins was a no-show at RB, but Ameer Abdullah could pick up his slack.
Now for my team,
QB: Devin Gardner - 60.3%, 2960 yards passing, 21 TDs, 11 INTs, 483 yards rushing, 11 TDs
RB: Mark Weisman - 937 yards, 7 TDs
APB: Dennis Norfleet - 53 yards rushing, 37 yards receiving, 850 kickoff return yards

RT: Jake Cotton
WDE: Frank Clark - 42 tackles, 12.5 TFL, 5 sacks, 7 QBH, 1 PBU, 1 FR, 1 TD, 2013 Second Team All B1G (Coaches)
DT: Darius Kilgo - 34 tackles, 5.5 TFL, 2 sacks, 1 QBH, 1 PBU
DT: James Kittredge - no stats (DNP?)
SDE: Zack Shaw - 24 tackles, 4.5 TFL, 1.5 sacks
WLB: Christian Kirksey - 97 tackles, 4 TFL, 1.5 sacks, 7 QBH, 1 PBU, 1 INT, 2 FF, 1 FR, 1 TD
MLB: Jaylon Smith - 61 tackles, 6.5 TFL, 1 QBH, 3 PBU, 1 INT, 1 FF
SLB: Damien Proby - 111 tackles, 5 TFL, 1 sack, 5 QBH, 2 PBU, 1 INT, 2 FF, 1 TD
CB: Ciante Evans - 44 tackles, 10.5 TFL, 3 sacks, 1 QBH, 5 PBU, 4 INT, 1 FF, 1 TD, 2013 First Team All B1G (Coaches), 2013 Second Team All B1G (Media)
CB: Dymonte Thomas - mostly played special teams
FS: Kurtis Drummond - 86 tackles, 3 TFL, 6 PBU, 4 INT, 1 FF, 1 TD, 2013 First Team All B1G (Coaches), 2013 Second Team All B1G (Media)
SS: Thomas Gordon - 49 tackles, 2 TFL, 2 PBU, 3 INT, 1 FF
K: Mauro Bondi - 1 FG made
As you can see I whiffed on many people (Darboh, Arnett, Holmes, Norfleet, Kittredge, Thomas) while doing ok to well in most of the other spots. Still an amazing OL to pave the way for Weisman carrying the ball.

Crazy to see how good your line was without Long playing half the season. You have some playmakers in the secondary too.
