Wait, Oregon and USCjr don't play this year? That can't be true because all I have heard lately was how messed up it was that SEC teams didn't play all the top teams every year like all the other conferences. It doesn't matter, because USCjr will still lose 4-5 games even with that weak schedule.
Southern Cal schedule:

Wow, there would be 5-6 SEC teams go undefeated with that schedule. How does Oregon not play for the title every year?
Strength of Schedule imho
Florida State is an elite defense, remember they beat Clemson... LSU did not, and I think LSU had an elite defense, they didn't have to deal with Sammy Watkins either
Facts are FSU is set to send a ton of guys to the NFL over the next few years starting with this draft ( could have 7 players or more drafted off this defense ) If that isn't elite when you are still leaving NFL talent behind from the same defense... then you tell me what is
FSU also ranked top 10 in nearly every category nationally, despite losing two senior all american/conference caliber players for the season before it even starts
FSU's only weakness on defense was their inability to force turnovers but its not like they couldn't do it
Also you fail to recognize that football is a team sport, and your defense is only as good as your offense... and FSU's offense doesn't do shit for the majority of games in nearly every game they play and this does nothing other than hurt your defense
Bama has an offense that controls the clock and can score at will on anybody, if FSU had this ? do you really not think the defense would play better ? with more energy ? more confidence ?
If EJ doesn't fumble in that 4th quarter vs. UF then FSU probably wins that game. Up to that point FSU's defense had played fine despite 3 turnovers already. Imagine if Bama's defense faced something like this, I mean they couldn't even beat Texas A&M who UF beat in their place. Again though, this is football and shit happens, doesn't mean Bama's D or FSU's D is any less fierce
Bama's defense is the best cause they are part of the best team in america, FSU's defense didn't have this advantage.... which to me is what makes what they did impressive and certainly worthy of being called one of the few elite defenses in 2012
I would say UF, Bama, LSU, FSU and South Carolina.... I thought these were the best defenses preseason and I still think these were the only elite defenses we saw, ND had a great front 7 but didn't have shit in the secondary
USCw wasn't and speaking of entertaining posts.... nothing beats USCw fans trying to tell me all offseason how they would whoop on FSU, and that you were #1 and would dethrone the SEC
No doubt you continue to own me
fsufsu said... I've got about 10 great stories on Lane but all you need to know is he will never be a loser, that's for sure.
Pretty sure NoVa punched a screen ITT.
Good one robins, you always bring the most original jokes
Yeah and LSU has the most difficult SEC schedule of anyone.. Such BS.. We play Florida, Georgia, Bama and TAMU.. wtf? On top of TCU to open the season
Danielle Hunter, Jamario Rasco, Anthony FREAK Johnson.. DL wrecking crew of 2013.
Mr. Stache'.. You change your Handle/Screen name?
Tired of all the name calling and cussing ITT...
Yeah. My handle messed up when the new updates came out. Had a bunch of those numbers behind it so I had to change it back to old faithful.
Oh okay, that's cool man.
lulz at SC's schedule. OOC is a cake walk, while only three legit teams in conference.
1. Alabama doesn't really pick their opponent in the kickoff classic games. VaTech has been on the schedule for more than a minute.
2. Alabama generally makes it to Atlanta. Fairly certain that will be a top 8 matchup.
3. Southern Cal's first 4 games are laughable. Boston College? Hawaii? And you skip Oregon but play Utah and Colorado? LOL. Still looking at no more than 10 wins. Sucks to suck.
Here we go with schedule BS again...
It's all the Pac-12 schools have.
They want props for playing Boston College & Hawaii.
Whether you play Georgia Southern or Utah State, it makes no difference.
Unless you're Auburn. Then you likely will need an onsides kick to survive.
They are going after the Notre Dame scheduling strategy. Schedule 12 mediocre to moderate teams so you can pimp your SOS and feel superior to other teams.
Theres really not much of a difference between Utah State or Hawaii and Georgia State. They are all games you should win.
Ehhhh. You gave up 37 points at home. Lets not get carried away. Your offense won that game.
dude they have 2 Thursday night games and 1 Friday night game,,,that is hard
And you would be incorrect. Hawaii is worse than most fcs schools. Trust me, I live here and they blow. Ole Miss is tougher than ND and the majority of PAC 12 teams, so gtfo. BC lost to Army this season so lulz.
Such an idiot you are.
Ole Miss looked a lot better against Alabama than Notre Dame did, and that was with a first year head coach and like 58 scholarship players.
Ole Miss also thoroughly demolished a Pitt team that took Notre Dame to how many overtimes? And should have won if not for a missed field goal.
