What do y'all think?
University of Alabama: The high mark of college football since 1892
don't rub it in.
I seriously envy all the teams that consistently have good DB play. It's my favorite position to watch and we suck at it.
I miss Jerraud Powers, David Irons, Jonathan Wilhite, Carlos Rogers, and Montavious Pitts.
I remember growing up and think the same way you do now. Watching all of those dudes made me so jelly lol, its all cyclical though man, y'all will be good again.
I watched the LSU vs Auburn 7-3 game in 2006 yesterday and felt empty. I miss having those defenses that weren't massive like y'all's but were fast, vicious, and fearless. Great DL and LB play... people flying around everywhere. Seeing a blue flash come from out of the screen and tackling an RB for a one yard gain. (David Irons)
It sucks. That team could have won it all if they weren't immature and would have played as hard at 1130 as they did at 330(Dmac and Arkansas and UGA). They beat Florida without even scoring an offensive TD.
FSU has the best seconday this year
Then everybody else, but nobody compares to FSU for 2013
Darby, K-Los, Joyner, Waisome, PJ, Hunter, Brooks.... Can't touch it imo
fsufsu said... I've got about 10 great stories on Lane but all you need to know is he will never be a loser, that's for sure.
We went thru this stretch of defense where they were never huge (Like Alabama's LB's are all 265), but were extremely fast and hit HARD. Our LB's were like 220. Our pass rush was ridiculous. It was just fun to watch.

hahaha ok. FSU hype? Must be the off season.
D'onofrio is just a pawn. This is Al Golden's team and Al's defense. Al's the clown. Dorito's just the floppy shoes.
My thoughts exactly
Eat clean. Train Hard.
Nova's right. Our DBs are just simply silly. Keelin Smith is even showing up big this spring.
Ronald Darby made all the other CBs in the last class lose a star just by comparing them to him. Hell, Nick Waisome played like a GAM last year as a Soph despite the all mighty Gator "scouts" Dundee and SUGator saying he sucked.
They scared imo
FSU's secondary is retarded for 2013, most just don't wanna believe it is all
We could have 3 season ending injuries to starters and still be the best in the ACC imo
Just wish we would bring up Derwin James early, then it would be so on

Not to mention Jalen Ramsey is a cartoon as well. Him, Keelin and P.J. give us silly size/ability ratio on one side.
I enjoy reading the write ups on Tracy Howard on the Cane sites. They started off with, "I am disappointed I sucked as a Fr but I've gained weight and now it's on" and now the updates are, "I finally got a pick in practice, I have been less than I want to be but just watch I am about to ball out". And the Canes just throw the U and declare his greatness.
People using the past in order to predict the future ? you're right, its the offseason and because of 2007 FSU will still get little respect from fans who only follow their team
Facts are FSU returns a butt load of highly ranked kids and almost all of them can line up all over the place, they can blitz the QB, they can cover and they can pretty much all tag your anus into a early exit from the game
I haven't a secondary this loaded from starters to the bench at FSU ever in my life
There is at least 7 future NFL'ers that will see action this year, and a few..... maybe more than a few 1st rounders
Exactly, we're referred to as offseason champs because Bobby hired the bro club to run his good recruiting classes into the ground for the last 6-7 years he was here. That's obviously over.
Tony Brown is the best CB in the nation
I'd certainly take him over Marlon Humphrey
Anyone with a brain would
Most of them either ignore or just don't realize that Jimbo's first real class of seniors and early entry juniors are about to send 10-12 kids in this months draft
If that isn't proof that times have changed in Tally, then you need to follow another sport cause you clearly don't understand football
Replied to the wrong post.
What's so funny tard?
It's the truth
Brown is also faster
Deal with it
Just to be honest, not really many non-Bammers (247 the site included in that group) see Humphrey as more than top 100.
