clemson scored a boat load. nc state came back to beat the mighty noles.
most of the points bama has given up this year have been against reserves.
Bama's d is much better than fsu's
fsu has played murray st and savanah st, and an acc schedule. no wonder doak campbell has empty seats for ball games.
And another one
FSU has empty seats cause FSU fans have jobs and shit to do
We don't live in boxes planning tree attacks and shit
fsufsu said... I've got about 10 great stories on Lane but all you need to know is he will never be a loser, that's for sure.
i guess fsu fans have to work on saturdays. although more people might watch an acc game if they were on during the week. on saturdays nobody wants to watch acc football.
West Virginia definitely has the top D in the nation. The best players on Bama, FSU, LSU's D would be lucky to be third string on the mighty Mountie D.
You really aren't good at this.
Lolz @ planning tree attacks.
Ohio State in pre game
Sweeping out Mom and Dad's basement.
Right now, FSU isn't even the best defense in its own division
We put reserves in by the 2nd quarter in most of our games. No, serious.
We've given up 3 total 1st quarter points. Outscoring opponents 97-3. You left that part out.
OK. Of the 8 defenses that are in the top 5 in either scoring or total yards, I have their variance numbers. FBS games only.
The first number is each team's opponents yds per game overall. The 2nd is how many yds below that average that team holds their opponent on average. Then the same with scoring.
Michigan St- Opp avg 391.5 (-114.4) 28.4 (-13.2)
BYU- 367.5 (-87.4) 24.2 (-10.1)
LSU- 363.9 (-127.3) 25.4 (-14.4)
FSU- 401.5 (-130.2) 27.6 (-11.3)
Florida- 397.6 (-142.7) 28.8 (-16.7)
Rutgers- 356.2 (-32.2) 22.1 (-8.9)
Notre Dame- 383.4 (-102.7) 28.4 (-19.5)
Alabama- 396.4 (-200.8) 27.8 (-19.5)
In other words, even after losing essentially 4 first round picks on D, we are light years ahead of the others?
University of Alabama: The high mark of college football since 1892
Translation: "Wait 'til next year. And this time we really mean it."
It's just numbers. They look good, but they don't tell everything. Someone asked previously about what they looked like.
But they have made up a lot of ground trying to be like a SEC Defense
Lsu be #2, maybe #1.. Bitches
Danielle Hunter, Jamario Rasco, Anthony FREAK Johnson.. DL wrecking crew of 2013.
I think this is a pretty good rep for the Gator's D (see below). I'd have to say the 4 best D's in the country are all in the SEC with Bama, UF, LSU, USCe. And as of right now thats the order i would put them in. After that in the second group I'd have ND, K-state, FSU.

Dear GOD make it stop. There is huge difference in all those teams you mentioned. Hard time seeing it? Let me point it out to you. The "Head Coach". Next question please!!!!
It's tough to tell. If Bama's opponents put up 40 PPG and 500 YPG in non-conference play, it's easier to get a -200 variance than a team whose opponents usually put up 25 PPG and 300 YPG. Then again, you could argue the latter team is playing against inferior opponents than the former, and thus should be held to the same variance, even if the % variance is different.
pretty sure the best defense in america is the bears right now
Bama v Michigan 269yd avg for the year 405 yd avg
Bama v wku 224 yd avg for the year 412
Bama v arky 137 yd 427 yd avg this one is debatable.
Bama v Florida atlantic 110 yds yds per game 311
Bama v ole miss 218 yds 440 yd average
Bama v Mizzou 129 yds 311 yd average
Bama v ut 282yds 453 yds per game. So we've kept every offense we have faced 100 yds below or more their avg.
did not read, bama is still the best imo no matter what your hocus pocus stats say
Somebody asked how the teams performed compared to the other teams avg. I was showing them that Bama has held every opponent to Atleast 100 yds under their avg. I know Bama has the best D. But if I had said that without something to back it up I would have been called a homer or bammer. Nobody can touch Bama's defense.
