OK, I guess my biggest thing is that I think UTx fans do a lot more crowing than their history indicates is warranted (similar to UGA and a few others).
I agree ... you could be wrong (see above).
Good point. They aren't terrible on 247, but on scout and rivals, you and just see the jealousy in every post about. It's sad.
not being the 'flag ship' or state school.
the school that came after the 'state' school. usually went thru name changes such as API, for auburn, MAC (michigan agriculture college) etc.
ucla/usc doesn't fit into that category. cal berkely would more than likely be the 'flagship' in that state but for football purpose usc (although private) has a regional draw and for this discussion i would place them in the 'big brother' position.
clemson is the odd fit since they dominate the series.
this thread was just to get the discussion rolling...didn't include ole miss or miss st because nobody would care. pitt psu wasnt included because psu dropped pitt years ago.
Clemson is technically our little brother, since we basically made them and they have copied us in everything.

i would say the bama losing trend to auburn recently has stopped. i think gus is a good hire and could be an excellent hire down the road if things break the right way.
Saban has been without question dominant. the key for Bama will be his successor and to not duplicate certain periods prior to CNS.
one thing about bama auburn games pre chizik...not many blow outs, favorite normally won, losing team usually battled and didn't quit. the 80's was probably the greatest era in terms of gut wrenching close games on both sides...major heart attacks.
Everything? Yes Riggs brought football to Clemson from auburn and used the tiger mascot.
"if things break the right way" lulz.
curious, what is the longest losing streak in the series?
You are not doing a very good job as a front runner.
The only thing you are better at is football. Come again
9 in a row for bama
Auburn's is 6 in a row which just happened in the 2000s
The FSU percentage is actually the worst genius...
Definitely sparty! They have more threads about UM on their boards than tthemselves. Lol
Cold hard facts
Nobody also does paranoid, angry, delusional, and burning home furniture quite like Sparty.

Nobody burns couches like Sparty
Beat me to my edit!
We have more titles and lead the series but some how we are the little brother
D'onofrio is just a pawn. This is Al Golden's team and Al's defense. Al's the clown. Dorito's just the floppy shoes.
They're in the team photo for best couch burners.
FSU=Florida in my book. Of course, during my childhood it was "cool" to pull for FSU. Auburn is a very good exanple bc they have been a prick in Bama's side for years, they have two NCs, and until recently they were fun to watch.
Auburn vs. Clemson '10 is one of my favorite games. That was brutal and manhood testing. In one of the games that year (I think) Kody Burns got his two front teeth knocked out- and kept playing

He said longest losing streak, not winning streak.
OkieState has had a good run recently, and aTm has had a few decent seasons on top of last years effort.
Why should we have to go to class if we came here to play FOOTBALL, we ain't come to play SCHOOL, classes are POINTLESS
