Stoops and it isn't close.
Now I wait for UGA fans to disagree and then I pull all the posts saying if you don't win a championship then you aren't crap.
If you want the ultimate, you've got to be willing to pay the ultimate price. It's not tragic to die doing what you love.
I respect other teams as long as they respect us. I take that back. ...I cant stand auburn.
So, is CMR better than Muschamp? Better yet, is UGA better than UF? End that story.
Whoa....pump the brakes here. Georgia is loaded with talent. Sure, Texas is part of the big 3 (TX, CA, FL) when it comes to recruiting and depending on any giving year they may be #1, but to say as fact Georgia doesn't have 1/3 of the talent is just silly. Georgia is a constant #4 as regards to football talent goes.
According to all the major recruiting services, Georgia has anywhere between 70% to 90% of the talent Texas has.....not 33%. Why do you think Auburn, Alabama, Clemson, South Carolina, Florida St., Tennessee & Florida all put such a high emphasis on recruiting that state?
If Georgia could lock down it's borders much the same way Auburn & Alabama do to the state of Alabama and LSU does to the state of Louisiana.......well they would be Ohio St. What I'm saying is UGA already has talent but the state of Georgia is so loaded on a consistent basis, the other schools can swoop in from time to time pluck quality players away.
Both good coaches. I know everyone stresses about hardware to determine sucess but I believe CMR is a slightly better coach when it comes to development and judging talent. He also has had to wait for an up and coming Bobo to finally become an offensive threat and now you're starting to see a change. If Richt was a defensive minded coach I don't think this would even be a topic. He's had several opportunities but come up short. Hell George Karl is a hall of fame coach that never has and probably never will win a title

True. We have taken more kids from GA the last 2 years than SC I believe.
While winning a natl championship is a great way to measure a coach's success, its not the only thing. Has CMR consistently finished in the top ten? Does his players do well in school? Are the getting to the next level consistently? Does the coach have integrity? Does he over sign? Personally, i dont care if Stoops is better or not. Our coach is a excellent coach with integrity and will.eventually win.a NC.
Well Richt would be better off letting Bobo go. I like Bobo as a coach and would be happy to have him at Alabama if coach Nuss left. However, Georgia seems to be somewhat stale offensively and I do realize y'all set all kinds of records last year offensively. Maybe getting in some fresh blood would be very beneficial.
Exact response I was looking for.
SCar has done all of those things, yet every time I get in an argument with a UGA fan I get the "you haven't won a championship spiel".
They are probably about even, imo. I just wanted a UGA fan to tell me how stuff other than championships is an accomplishment. I'm out!
I thought most UGA fans thought Bobo was the problem with the O. No?
We cant lock down the borders as much as bama and lsu can, but sometimes we do (see 2011) and sometimes we get some of the top group of rankings with solid players filling in after them (2012 when we got josh harvey clemons and jordan jenkins the two best players In the state that year and had a solid class with several instate pieces like johnathon Taylor , james deloach and josh dawson to go along with several out of state tagets like Marshall , Gurley, and theus) and then sometimes we do miss out on some....2013.
But due to the high migratory patterns of this country, the population of Georgia has grown exponentially from people all around the country. Very few top notch recruits grew up watching or cheering on Georgia these days as they moved in state (like RN in last years class) or had family go to other colleges like mitch hyatt next year. We will get our fair share of top talent as how this year is shaping up to be and next year looks very favorable for us as well early on.

Richt has two SEC Champs actually, guess you're not smart enough to look things up.
Dawgs on Top!
I used to think the same thing about CMB but he let his nuts hang last year and made me apologize for all the terrible things I said about him years before.
Socar has yet to even be competitive in an SECCG ......please come back with that argument when they are...
Nope!!! Bobo is our best recruiter. He is reaching.his potential as a OC and I wouldnt want anyone else. UGA as a whole is moving upward on offense n defense. Coaches are hungry. Dawgs bout to eat.
Yet we keep beating one of the teams who plays in it....
There is the championship talk I was talking about though! You guys are so predictable. Where is SmithDawg? That guy is legit.
Spoken like a person who truly sees the bigger picture. Well said!!!! It is what it is. The ball bounced Stoops way in 2008 and not so much for Richt in 07
I am not sure there has ever been a team to win the NC that didn't have at least 2 games where the ball bounced their way. I think Auburn had 8.
I'm just admiring your work
Bob Stoops is the better football coach. 1 ring and 2 other appearances. Mark Richt never even been to the national title. That's all you need right there IMO.
"Give him six" "We don't give a damn about the whole state of Alabama" "Grit N Grind"
and this guy knows good coaches when he sees them...
If that is the pinnacle of your achievments and all that you strive for.. ..congrats
W e mean so much to yall dont we? I am sure all of us dawg fans are so touched towards your devotion to us
you've been touched by a cock
