You don't sound too bitter. Really, you don't.
You followed the rules, you went to the championship game, you destroyed a team you were not favored to beat. Wisconsin didn't do anything wrong but follow the rules. What do we expect Wisconsin to do tell the big ten "sorry, we won't play in the game because we've lost games"? You did what you were supposed to do, and those that are angry about it, are just bitter their school didn't follow the rules prescribed to all of us.
I was at the MSU Wisconsin game last year in East Lansing. It might habve ended in a hail mary, however, that game wasn't "lost" on a hail mary, it was a slug fest by two vry good teams. MSU didn't luck out by being in that posistion to win it in the last second, they faught their tail off to be in that position.
I'm not bitter at all. One of the great joys of watching college football is seeing undeserving/overrated teams get beat in bowl games. That is the same every year.
Of course you aren't.
I'm really not. I am excited to watch the bowls, just like any other year. To be honest with you, I didn't even watch the PSU bowl game last year (thankfully).
This season was more fun to watch than all but 2-3 previous PSU seasons in the last 30 years. It was a great product on the field, and I couldn't be much happier to be honest with you. Outside of a BS "no TD" blown call, I really don't have much to complain about.
That close game with Nebraska must give you the feeling that you could have stopped Wisconsin Saturday Night. Got it.
Yeah, that's it. What a pathetic troll you are.
you're the troll. "Well, we lost a close game to Nebraska, so even though Wisconsin was in such a zone and put up 70 points, but we would have stopped them, because we lost a close game to Nebaska".
I disagree. I was really disappointed by PSU's performance against Houston last year. I really didn't want a Big Ten team to lose to a CUSA team. It really hurt our national image.

We kind of were in the middle of a little distraction last year. But that's fine, we would have just had to vacate the victory anyways.

Wait.... 1, 2, 3, 4,....... Heeeyyyy, there's more in this one. a LOT more. What gives?
I dream of a day when chickens can cross the road without having their motives questioned.
Doesn't matter. Wisky clearly has lapped the field. According to an MSU troll, there is no way that OSU or PSU would have been able to beat them again.
Pretty sure championships are won on the field, otherwise Stanford would have double digit NCs by now, and PSU beat Wisconsin on the field, as did OSU.
Maybe next year Wisconsin can try winning the division by something other than default?
Why should we have to go to class if we came here to play FOOTBALL, we ain't come to play SCHOOL, classes are POINTLESS
It didn't help that our "conference champion" got smacked around in the Rose Bowl on a much bigger stage.
Maybe this year y'all can compete against a better Stanford team?
Nope, the fact that we beat Wisconsin the week before makes me think we could beat Wisconsin.
Who is to blame for the "Default"? Wisconsin?
That's why Nebraska is better then you guys. They beat you on the field.
Wisconsin, by the way, beat Nebraska. 70-31
Certainly not, but it doesn't take away from the fact that they won the RB bid by default.
That's why we're better than Wisconsin, we beat them on the field. NCAA doesn't have aggregate scoring, so I guess we'd have to settle for a three-way tie for second (OSU wasn't beaten by anybody so I'd assume they take the title).
PSU>Wisconsin>Nebraska>PSU. Looks like a tie to me.
Well then, enjoy your victory/championship/bowl. Whatever gets you to sleep at night.
Beating neb by 39 is a default now? Ok.
