Logic: First 5 guys are guys who can stick at LT in college. Darling most likely won't and therefore may never crack it. After that, it's two guys who COULD play RT. Gave Cole the nod because Darling looks like he has some bad weight.
Yeah Darling is a hoss. I think the kid is going to be big time. Top 3 OL prospect in Florida, I'd probably have him 2 behind Kc.
I decided I'm not in a position to dock a kid on grades. I just don't know enough to do it.
P.S. Check the film on the film on Dacorius Law. Kid's not well known, but very, VERY good.
huh ? are you talking about Trevor Darling ? I think you're confusing him with someone else.
jmo but bad weight can be an over-rated flaw sometimes
A kid like Bobby Hart, it hurts him for sure
A kid like Warmack ? doesn't seem to bother him imo, except in underwear agility/speed drills
fsufsu said... I've got about 10 great stories on Lane but all you need to know is he will never be a loser, that's for sure.
Maybe. And I'll take back the top 5 comment. Gibbons, despite the combine numbers, could get bumped so he'll probably stay in the 5-8 range.
Really like the athleticism and upside of McDermott(far and away #1), Sharpe, Ward, and Knox.

Wasn't saying you were wrong fwiw, just something to think about in terms of bad weight on an OL
Cause at the end of the day weight is important and at this stage a lot of them have bodies that will drastically change over the course of a college career
Will do, thanks for the heads up
That's the thing too. I got negative feedback on my OL/DL lists and was told I need to focus on how big kids will be in 3 years and not necessarily on how big they are now. Gun to my head, I prefer the athletic OL who need some weight over the big maulers...especially at this stage. Are the big maulers really big maulers or do they just look that way because they're by far the biggest kids on the field?
The new guys, Sharpe, and Knox, need weight, but they both move and bend REALLY well. That's something you can't teach. They'll add weight of course, but even if not, a college SC coach worth half his weight will put 20+ pounds on them in one RS year. All of a sudden, you have a 6'7, 300 lb guy who can bend, move, AND finish.
And we also need to keep in mind that this is one of the hardest positions to project longterm. I bet Knox isn't the only guy that comes out of nowhere...
Nice to see Brady get a bump. I hope J.C. Jackson decommits from FSU soon. The kid is a beast especially at DB imo.
D'onofrio is just a pawn. This is Al Golden's team and Al's defense. Al's the clown. Dorito's just the floppy shoes.
To me Darling is the second best OL in Florida bad weight or not. just my opinion
Solid point, guess it just varies on kid to kid
Sounds unlikely for now
Even if he decommits from FSU he ain't coming to Miami so it doesn't matter.
-Well, #5 DE Trent Harris sure has exploded.
FSU, UF, UGA, and Alabama offers in the last week. Film is disgusting, only question was height. It seems like the 6'2 is legit from these offers, though, so he'll bump up a couple more spots next update.
-Glad to see my 2nd safety, Kendall Gant, got offered from Alabama and Ohio State in recent days.
-#3 DE Justus Reed is starting to get offers: WVU, UCF, USF, Pitt, Marshall. Big County Preps recently sent out his film and promised he'd explode soon so I'd be surprised if the in-state powers didn't offer soon
-UF offered #3 OT David Sharpe last week; officially a FSU-UF battle.
-Might have Tajee Fullwood too low; offers from USF, Louisville, and Rutgers recently with more coming.
-Not surprised #3 MLB Andrew Beck got offered by FSU, Miami, and Stanford recently. Kid's a tackling machine and apparently has some awesome combine numbers.
Jimbo is impressing with who he is offering, those kids most often are getting major offers subsequently. Trent Harris being one.
usually not a fan of whitey's at LB
big fan of Beck tho
Who leads for Beck ?

If Sharpe picks UF over FSU Im gonna lose my effin mind, UF is deep enough at Tackle... seriously, deep.... enough!
FSU needs a tackle and literally has 2 fags and an invisible man on its roster right now at said position
I don't know if he's leaning one way or another, but I wouldn't get your hopes up on Harris if this article from the Orlando Sentinel is accurate:
Florida Gators offer Winter Park DE Trent Harris
Harris is all UF. He's a player.
FSU is likely signing 5 LBs again this year. I think R. Hoskins moves to FB. I would like Beck as a mike.
Getting the top 3 Mikes in the state would be quite a haul.
Why you think this puzzles me, Im sure you just copied it from somebody else after you agreed with them for some reason
But Hoskins looks to be a solid LB prospect to me, why the hell FSU would move him to FB or HB is beyond me
