Apparently miami lost its swagger at home when the orange bowl went away. Miami is ranked #48 behind juggernauts like vandy, Baylor,Minnesota, mizzou, Cincinnati , Utah, Rutgers and Oregon st. Stanford is 29 and the stadium was half full for the PAC 12 championship game.
This may be the most completely worthless piece of garbage "ranking" of anything I've seen.
No, but I think people have started to realize that when the players motion for the crowd to bring it it actually helps them.
“Autzen's 59,000 strong make the Big House collectively sound like a pathetic whimper. It’s louder than any place I’ve ever been, and that includes The Swamp at Florida, The Shoe in Columbus, and Death Valley at Louisiana State. Autzen Stadium is where great teams go to die.”
From Michigan Daily
Lloyd Carr also said Autzen was the loudest stadium he ever entered. I don't think Michigan deserves to be #1.
For the record, I don't think Oregon is #1 either.
Total fiction. Michigan is lucky if they're 4th in the Big Ten. It's more of a calm wine & cheese crowd than you'll find at PSU or OSU. More raucous in those stadiums.
Plus the stadium acoustics are not good for retaining noise. No upper decks or overhangs .... just one huge bowl & the seating incline is not steep. Sound just goes up and out.
Sort of. It's about 15% "wine and cheese" and 85% "Nattie Ice and Cheetos."
Lolz at anyone who thinks Lane Stadium is UVAs home.
Lane Stadium which they have listed is Virginia Tech's stadium and lolz that they have it outside the top 5.
You do realize they put in huge luxury boxes and scoreboards that have significantly increased the ability to retain noise, right?
That was 10 years ago. They purposely designed the luxury boxes at a slight angle which were finished in 2010 so they deflected noises down to the field.
Lane Stadium (Virginia) This alone makes this list a joke.
Yes, these have definitely helped.
lol what great teams? A deflated USC?
You obviously haven't been there in a while.
The unfortunate drawback is that it also deflects the smell down.
Longest home winning streak for any BCS conference team.... Keep hating.
I think the humidity was f-ing with Lloyd's hearing aid. K States 50,000 are impressed by your 59,000. You can't be in the discussion with 59k. Tell Phil 14 Uni combos is enough ,you want 20,000 more seats
Lolz.....at the Big House..
I was in 09....
All I remember was hearing...... all game long....sounded like I was at the OSU Spring Game...
I think LSU's field is far and away the hardest to win on. Those mf'ers are crazy.
Lol Miami obsession, you mad you can't post on Miami's board anymore
I'm glad someone brings in trash cans to bang together in between plays. That video is hilarious.

I definitely agree with this.
Started at the bottom, now we here.....better get used to it.
This post is confirmed. I was there also. I couldn't believe it. It was like a Buckeye home game. I didn't know Michigan fan base was the type to only show up when they're good.
One OSU fan even took a dump in the urinal in the bathroom screaming "our house!" at the top of his lungs drunk as a skunk. Michigan fans just stood there and did nothing.
Rich rod years don't count.

Coming from a team that lost to Nebraska, Bama, tOSU, ND, and South Carolina last season.
Good job M, you lost to the 5 best teams on your schedule last season. You did it, your back!!! Ha.
No, the INS isn't chasing him; Taylor Martinez just runs like that. . . .
Lol, for being able to hold soo many people.. It's not loud at all in the big house
Danielle Hunter, Jamario Rasco, Anthony FREAK Johnson.. DL wrecking crew of 2013.
