The term ''left behind'' comes up quite often when talking about joining a conference but what does that really mean to ND? If you think about it we've always been left behind.

Then what is the hang up with ND joining a
Conference? I get the prestige thing with ND, but that NBC contract isn't gonna last forever and if they don't get back into the NC discussion soon, what happens then? I don't see NBC or any other network emptying there pockets on an individual school that is slightly above/average every year.
Actually, you are wrong about that too, but who cares? It you want to get your thoughts across in an effective matter, then "quotes" are your friend. You just need to learn to respond to the correct post.
Lets make it a pissing contest, what programs can the B12 get (using names being thrown around) that bring us more NC's BCS wins ect.. than the SEC has? I say we do that.
He doesn't need to learn anything...Aussie knows what he is doing and he is fair to everyone. IrishImpact is the one who brought South Carolina into this. You know why he did? Because he didn't like my comment on ND never joining a conference. Quit whining and move on.
If ND wanted to join a conference, the easy choice would be the Big East. They would win the conference every year.easiest road to the National Title, in my opinion.

Have you not been keeping up with the playoff vote and 4 major conferences? Big East?
Yes, but if it's a 4 team playoff and they go undefeated, how could you keep them out?
I'm the minority but I don't care what Noter dame does. hopefully they will stay by themselves. Who cares anyways. If they were worth a shit maybe it would be different
An SOS of 74 would keep them out. That's how. Big East will never get one of the playoff spots, and after FSU and Clemson leave the ACC neither will they. Pac, SEC, B12, and B10 will gobble those spots up. Just how its going to be.
Again, why do you think we HAVE to join a conference so bad? You say hang up like there is something in the way of us not getting there. We just choose not to.
And I have no clue we'll have to wait and see.
And then you have posters like this...who ride the moderators real hard and can't come up with anything on their own.
You made fun of ND when you forgot that you root for no account South Carolina, not my fault.
We might suck on the football field but we also equal $$$$. Any conference in the country would love to have us don't kid yourself.
I'm not riding anyone at all. I respect the mods that do their job on this board. Please explain to me how I was "making fun" of ND? It was a true statement...they have had opportunities and will not join a conference. BTW....if you dont like how the staff runs things around here then why stay here?
Of course you respect the mods lol. Keep ridin' son.
I didn't say that. I just said I don't care
You just keep trollin'...eventually no one will respond to you.
Billy...don't waste your time. Dude is a troll.
Any chance the remnants of the ACC & Big East merge after all is said & done. It's probably the only chance either has at survival imo.
Nobody's trollin' here buddy.
"The Leftover Conference"
I won't believe FSU and Clemson are leaving the ACC until it actually happens. Until then, it's all hypothetical's.
And I wont believe the world is round until Columbus sails around it.
