Still didn't create the United States.
Who created the United States?
The Founding Fathers when they wrote the declaration of Independence and later when they really made it official withe the words "We the people of The United States..." in the constitution.
You understand that the United States didn't exist before the United States existed right?
No semantics, you just aren't very smart.
Woah...check out the big brain on Brad.
Some on the left want the US to give more authority to the UN. Heck we have activist Supreme Court judges looking to other nation's courts and decisions as if it sets some sort of precedents. Sometimes going so far as to reference in their opinions.
Scored 4 touchdowns...in a single game. Polk High!
Have you ever heard of the difference between mandatory and persuasive authority?
Any judge in the United states can cite foreign decisions as rationale, they're just not obligated to follow foreign decisions. Especially when dealing with a novel issue, what's wrong with looking to a foreign jurisdiction for guidance/ideas?
That being said, please show me an example of an "activist" Supreme Court judge citing a foreign jurisdiction's decision as if it were actual precedent.
