No, I mean stuff happens and it's a long season and because of that you are bound to lose a lot of games just because you play so many, but yesterday was ridiculous.
totally agree with you , pitiful
dont want him fired but do think he pulled the kid way too early and replaced him with guys that are not throwing hard enough to make a difference
Yankees up 1-0 and Bourne leads off with another hit.. 11 game hit streak.
Going to be a fun series to gage how good we are.
Danielle Hunter, Jamario Rasco, Anthony FREAK Johnson.. DL wrecking crew of 2013.
Damn Yanks are lucky but they can hit.
Wow Swisher robs a 2 run HR.
Goodness they have made amazing play after amazing play. Talk about luck and the bounce going your way.. This is nuts
totally agree with you
down 3 in the bottom of the 5th , gotta start hitting now
Good job Freddi! Way to leave Venters in that long. Don't pull anybody until you are sure we have lost the game.
One game win streak!!! Wooooo!!!!!
But seriously, That Yankees series was bad, not just that we lost but how we lost. It really hurt.
However we stand a chance to take down the Orioles in a series, and have another shot at the Yankees next week, and the Red Sox next weekend. June was going to be a really tough month for us and so far we are 7-4, not too bad.
Our manager is absolute garbage, but on the bright side Livan is out, Medlen is back in the pen, the starters are starting to fare better, and that Simmons kid was a major improvement on defense and with his bat over Pastornicky.
We might have a shot at the playoffs and if we can get a slide out of the Nats maybe a outside shot at the division. But Gonzales will cost us some more games...you can be sure of that.
totally agree with you and dont like our manager either ..poor choice in my opinion
need to take this series for sure
Well crap. Looks like Beachy will likely be done for the season. That is a huge blow for the Braves.
They brought up Todd Redmond. The fact they brought him up, and not just used Medlen as a starter, leads me to think they expect Beachy to be back soon and that Redmond will only have to make 2-3 starts.
I'm hoping at least...
Redmond will pitch out of the pen. Jurrjens will start the games for Beachy.

wow our luck is unreal BAD ,,, they need a trainer that knows what the hell they are doing and get a new manager while you are at it
pitiful situation as we should be a really good team but cant expect much with everyone hurt all the time
On the bright side we did take a series at Yankee Stadium...or what is now called Yankee stadium anyway.
The bad news is Beachy will need Tommy Johns, I believe the surgery is tomorrow. Won't be back until about this time next year.
The other bad news news is that Jurrjens pitches Friday night, coming back after earning a 5+ ERA in the freaking minors.
The other good news is that the Red Sox aren't very good this year so we may be able to take them for a series.
I want him to take the entire year off next year and rehab and do all his simulated games in the winter
just start with winning the series at Ny which is huge for this team
young pitchers are going to have to step it up for the rest of the year +1
I've been out the country.. Just got back yesterday.. Sucks missing the NYY series.
yeah i really thought we were going to get swept again but the bats finally came alive yesterday and today ...needed that win badly
playing at Boston starting this Friday , really going to miss Beachy for the rest of the year
