And you have an issue with that statement why? Why would you become a BCS level head coach and not want to beat the teams on your schedule instead of just playing them. Pretty dang crazy to complain about something like this. Make sure the butt hurt gets a good wash in the shower this morning...WOW
As far as Alabama fans go as regards to that statement, why would they care? They are at the top of college football right now. All they need to say is "bring it on" and play ball.
I hate Saban but dude has respect in my book he's like Tim Duncan never ever seems to talk but sure does have a lot of Championships
Saban's only good at winning tropheys that are bigger than him.... which is pretty much all of them.
Not the smartest thing to say, but if you look at the statement at face value he is 100% accurate. Just dumb to say it since Saban has had so much success since he left Michigan St. I don't see the point of saying it
There's no fvcking reason & here's my point, Dude.

When did he say this? Can I have a link to the article? Thanks.

I haven't seen it so I'm not sure when or if he said it.
He was at one of those fish things at a town in Arkansas (Benton?) and was talking to the crowd about how spring ball is going, how the team is adjusting, how recruiting is going, and just mentioned that he wants to beat Alabama and not just play them. Wisconsin fans just want to make this into a big deal as they are still dealing with the recovery phase of the break up.
I still like Meyer.
trophies. Sorry bro.
You would.... You're name under your stars is douchebaggery.
Mad about what ???
He has never really been short on self confidence or arrogance. There's two approaches to fighting the toughest guy in the room. Either bow down and accept your beating or tell him to go fvck himself and come out swinging. Neither probably changes the outcome. Looks like he picked option 2
I can't vouch for the hootens.com, but here it is...
Meh. OP is trying to make it something bigger than it actually was. We will suck this year... and maybe the next.
Petrino could coach, but he was a lazy recruiter. He let the assistants do all the work.
You do you have to talk in order to fight? That's the dumbest thing I have heard. Option 3 is to keep your mouth shut, prepare like hell and go to battle on gameday. That's what most coaches do. Rarely do they just curl up in the fetal position in the corner and rarely do they call out a program/coach that is clearly superior. It's just a dumb move by the crybaby.
He could then say they were greatly improved in his first year... Bama beat them by 52 last year and quit trying after the first timeout.
Dude's been possessed by the spirit of Kiffin!
I am a Buckeye...proof there is a God in Heaven who loves me.
My point was that it shouldn't surprise people. Urban was at OSU for about 10 minutes before BB was poking at hiM.
Saban couldn't care less about the comments from Bielema. Only homers on a message board beating their chests will give those comments any time. Every coach makes comments about how they are not going somewhere to just compete but rather to win. What a revelation. As for the second part, if his record in the B10 is better than Saban's then what is wrong with pointing it out?
Scored 4 touchdowns...in a single game. Polk High!
As it's already been pointed out... the OP is just trying to stir the pot. He's a butthurt Wisconsin fan who has nothing better to do than talk smack about his former coach who left for a better program and more money. He's one of the worst posters on here. Check his stats.
This is classic Bielema. Trying to stir the pot and create something out of nothing. I'd expect Bama to do their talking on the field and romp Arkansas.
